Walking distance to the beach in Ocean Shores. Welcome to Clam Xing, your beachcomber’s paradise! Wake up to the sound of the waves as you begin your day at the Shores. This cute cottage is located just a short walk to the beach, don't let the location of Hoquiam fool you this house is right on the outskirts of downtown Ocean Shores.
Clam Xing has a full kitchen including all your basic cooking utensils, and if you don’t feel like cooking, restaurants are a one-minute drive into town. This is a one-story home with two bedrooms and one full sized bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a queen, and a pack-n-play is available for babies. Two cozy couches are available too, if your party is larger than four.
Dogs are welcome with an additional fee

Nice Spot - however if you plan to cook, you will need to bring your own condiments, salt and pepper oil and extras, etc. etc. etc. otherwise great quiet location, clean and well furnished. One suggestion is to have the bathroom water pressure checked. It is very very low! We had a wonderful time thank you very much.

Appreciate the coffee & maker! Was very clean! Would have liked a broom to sweep up a mess I made on the deck (just some wood dust) but it was a convenient location! A long walk to the ocean and a quick drive to town. Thank you!

Weekend Home away from Home

Family and I very satisfied with property. Details of what to expect were spot on. Under a minute drive to beach. Kids had a little room to run around in the yard and great house to retreat to when the sun went down. Great stay!

Great Quaint House

While this is an older house the inside was kept up nicely. Everything was clean and tidy. They provided ample towels and kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable however, the main couch was too worn and caused us to sink. Sadly there is no dishwasher and they do not provide a vacuum to pickup any sand or debris. The yard was kept up nicely and was perfect for our dog. The neighborhood was also very quiet and relatively private.

Ocean Shores Retreat

Great stay. Comfortable home and so close to the beach. Beds were very comfy. Clean, neat and chill. Our only complaint was the incredibly slow streaming from the blu ray player w/VERY limited app options. It would take up to 20min to load apps and then they would freeze until we eventually turned the unit off and restarted. In one way it was great because we watched less tv, but kinda hard when you have kids and the weather isn’t so great. A minor complaint considering the overall positives of our stay/

Cozy stay for a weekend

This property met the needs of our brief stay in Ocean Shores for the Razor Clam Festival weekend. Weekend weather was less than ideal so we didn't explore on foot, but drove in to town for the festivities. Beds were very clean and pretty comfortable. Furniture is kind of old and tired, but clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a couple of quick meals at home. Only complaint is a stale smoker's smell covered up by air freshener smell. I'm sensitive to smells so this was more offensive to me than my spouse, but probably would prevent me from staying there again.

Much Needed Rest in a Quiet and Cozy Cottage

Loved this place. Beds are super comfy and the gas fired wood stove was a welcome experience. The location was nearly perfect. Super quiet neighborhood and the cottage has a perfectly kept yard. The only thing that wasn't available was a neighborhood foot path to the beach.The weather for early March was amazing, so we spent a lot of time on the side deck in the sun, reading and napping. The kitchen is nicely appointed and has nearly everything for cooking, but could use a few small pots. The cottage was very clean when we arrived. It is obviously well cared for. One super small glitch was not knowing we would need our passwords for Amazon or Netflix. But because the weather was so nice, we got along fine without watching movies. The one bit of info that we didn't have before arriving is that pets are not allowed on the furniture. The property does provide a few sheets to put on a sofa or chair for this. Luckily I brought an extra blanket, which we used to cover more furniture. My friend and I will stay hear again.
