Undisclosed additional charge for accessing neighborhood

The house was very nice, clean and well-appointed. That said, the check in process did not go smoothly… recommend that the management company use the VRBO messaging system to communicate check-in procedures. Check-in procedures were emailed to me… cell coverage is spotty at the house and emails were not coming through. Also… there is an additional 50 charge that the HOA charges to access the neighborhood. This charge was not disclosed and I wasn’t happy to find out about it when I was attempting to access the property.

Pine lake traffic is horrible

There was 45 minute to 1 hour wait times to enter the neighborhood every time we left to run an errand. There was a $50 entry fee not described in listing. The marina did not allow renters to park there to use amenities. The neighbors Pit Bull barked at 6:30 AM every morning and barked at us whenever we attempted to use the deck. See pictures on my VRBO review. Inaccurate listing

Nice updated property

The house was clean, updated, well stocked supplies, good air conditioning, comfortable furniture and a fun game room! The beds were a little firm for our liking.

We loved the house! Extremely clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The house has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay from BBQing and lounging on the deck to a game room that is fun for all ages. The location is close to many activities. We will definitely be back!

Loved it!

Family trip. All amenities were provided, kitchen was fully stocked. Game room was a bonus, we spent lot of time in there playing darts, ping pong, foosball, kids just loved it. Shower in the master bath was next level, everyone loved it, much needed after hectic day. TV had all the apps we enjoyed a family movie during our stay.

Cozy house

This is a cozy house. It placed in calm place. There are no stunning views but we have seen turkeys and deers and it was cute. All amenities provided as expected. There were some small issues with jacuzzi and curtains. And couple questions about cleaning: dishwasher was full, there was no toilet paper in master bathroom. But it is still really good and I can recommend that place to stay.

Neighborhood is NOT welcoming to renters

After paying my 50 parking fee to the gate attendant to enter the neighborhood I was glad I would be able to come and go as I pleased for the remainder of my stay. I was wrong about that, as I experienced a 45 minute backup to re-enter the neighborhood several times during my stay, with cars being backed up 1/4 mile to Feretti Road. Even a short 5 minute drive to the golf course will result in a long 45 minute wait to get back into the neighborhood (because you exit to get to the course), and only homeowners may use one of the several other entrances back into the neighborhood. Be prepared for long wait times anytime you need to leave for anything.But hey there's lots of amenities in the neighborhood right? Like the marina where I was taking my family to rent a boat, BUT non-home owners may NOT park at the marina! So at 11:15 we were told to drive to the other side of the lake at Dunn Ct. Where the water taxi would come pick us up...at Noon! So over an hour after we initially set out we reached the marina where the boat house employees were hospitable to us, despite not letting us park earlier and the boat ride was nice.Other than that, i enjoyed cooking dinner on grill until the neighbors Pit Bull started barking at me from their trash filled back yard. This prevented us from enjoying the beautiful weather by eating on the deck. Did I mention that same dog barks routinely at 6:30 AM? The house itself was fine other than a broken drain knob in master bathroom.

Picked it for the games

Nice house, comfy furniture, clean kitchen. Picked it for the games available, ping pong, foosball, dart board and a few others. Quality of the foosball table can be improved. Ping pong table also has tapes on it. But for gentle use, it is okay. Dart board was good quality. Other board games and outdoor stuff available, but did not use. Xbox was a hit with my son, even i got my first shot at it. Many apps available on the tv, so made some use of it. Restrooms were nice, especially the jacuzzi tubs. Fancy shower in the master bathroom, always wanted to try one with multiple sprays. Freezer was leaking when we got there as i think it was turned off for a while or door left open, but the property manager was very responsive, and within a couple of hours, stuff froze again. One challenge with that whole neighborhood is that google maps does not know of the gates all over the neighborhood, and we kept getting stuck behind closed gates in various streets. They had to give us exact direction to avoid the gated streets. Plenty of wildlife there which was nice. Safe neighborhood, nice folks. Few but enough shops and restaurants in the small town. Overall, wife was impressed with my pick, and that is all that matters. Happy wife, happy life :)

One of the best experiences ever.

It was by far one of the best stays in the past 5+ years. It had everything you could think of. It is less than 10 minutes from the lake, only an hour and a half to Yosemite valley. They truly thought of everything you could imagine to have stocked in the home. All the amenities of a hotel with the option to cook a 5 course meal if you wanted to. We will definitely be checking this home out in the future if it is available for our next trip to Yosemite.

Home near Yosemite

Wonderful spot near Yosemite. The home is very spacious, the kitchen is well-stocked, and there are lots of games and entertainment. We especially loved the back porch and having a grill.
