Tides 1511 is a little slice of paradise so many people love to return to year-after-year. A full kitchen and dining area share amazing beach views - who wouldn't love cooking dinner inside while hearing the waves crash on the beach? The spacious living room adjoins the dining area and shares in similar views. A nice big HDTV greets guests who get amped up about not missing a beat with their favorite sports team. Direct access to the balcony is available in the living area; this unit has one of the biggest balconies in the building and is so special to us. Don't worry about getting sandy but still be able to catch some rays or watch that gorgeous sunset from high up. Back inside you have two bedrooms: the master with a king and guest room with a queen. Both have access to their own separate bathrooms (master being the biggest - includes a tub and walk-in shower). A washer and dryer are in the unit as well, just in case you need. So, what are you waiting on? Let's go on vacation!

The Tops’l Beach and Racquet Resort is conveniently located 10 miles east of Destin in the Miramar Beach/Sandestin, FL area. The resort offers fun and relaxation for all ages and also provides a quiet, secluded peace of mind while being only minutes away from activities, shopping, dining, and so much more! The Tides building is beachfront – only a few quick steps until your tired feet set foot on the white, sandy beaches. The property was easy to get to, very well kept and clean. The whole process was smooth and even got an earlier check in.

Enjoyed our vacation! Beautiful and clean property. Great view from balcony. Weather was beautiful, beach was clean, shopping plazas and restaurants are very convenient to the resort.

Accommodating condo with super convenient location!

Location is great with proximity to the beach! condo was clean and had just about everything needed in the kitchen for cooking. it’s located on the top floor so warning if scared of heights!

This is a nice quiet condo on top floor/end of hall. Everything was clean and condo appeared exactly as pictures. Enjoyed our stay at Topsl Tides - staff is very friendly.

Gorgeous beaches. Beautiful view from balcony. Comfortable condo xplorie pass is great! Allows for many activities with free daily passes for one adult. We were able to use a pass almost everyday of our vacation!

This property is very comfortable inside and the balcony is huge with fabulous views of the sunset. The grounds were very nice. Located at the end of Miramar beach, it provides close access to the unpopulated areas near the State Park. Clean beaches to walk for miles. Beds were very comfortable!

Quick trip

The balcony was great, we spent a lot of time out there. The condo was as listed. Some of the appliances & beds could use some updating. Overall, we would stay here again.

Amazing Balcony!

We enjoyed every minute of this vacation. The view and the balcony were spectacular. Great location. My only suggesstion is to provide more beach chairs and offer some beach towels. The resort does not provide beach towels and we did not have room for any in our suitcase. If housekeeping could leave a couple extra trash bags that would be great too. I would love to come back and stay here again!

The beach and pool area was not as crowded compared to other resorts we have stayed at in Destin. Price was very reasonable. My only compliant, the floors in the unit was not clean. You could tell housekeeping spot mopped the floors.

Need to change the lock!

Easy access to the beach. My husband and son-in-law were able to play three day’s of golf using a pass that provided one free admission. The kids were able to Zip line, bungee jump and do a rope course for a reduced price due to the pass given us by Gibson. Sexton’s fish market has freshly caught fish and shrimp. Overall our family vacation to Miramar Beach was great funEnjoy

Beautiful View!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice unit with lots of room. It could use an update on the electronics as the tv's are old and the huge stereo system does not work. We had a convention next door at the Hilton and had there been an access way between the two our stay would have been a 10. Having to trek the beach or drive all the way around for meetings and socials was a pain. Appliances are fairly new and the kitchen was well stocked. Pool area and beach were very nice with good food and drinks available. Overall it was a great stay and very convenient to restaurants and stores. An easy 4 out of 5 stars!

First, I was knocked out by the group at GBR. I have never worked with a more gracious and professional group of people. We were extremely pleased and delighted with our unit in The Tides. Every thing was as advertised. The kitchen was very well equipped and nicely appointed. We were particularly pleased with the large deck. We spent a lot of time there. The view was wonderful. We have already reserved the same unit for September.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our experience was good with several exceptions. We have stayed in this unit many times now along with our friends. We rotate the bedrooms. This time my wife and I had the small bedroom. The bed, including the frame, needs to be replaced. It is very loose and noisy and the mattress is not comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom is dismal, particularly over the sink. The common area was very comfortable and well appointed. The upgraded appliances in the kitchen were a pleasant experience. We were impressed originally by the balcony with its size and furniture. The couch and chair cushions have become stained and dirty! Give our experience on this stay we will have rethink our next stay.

Spring Vacay

The condo was clean and prepared for our arrival. We occupied the smaller bedroom this time therefore this is where I will concentrate my comments - -The bed has too much movement and make noises! - The towel rod kept falling off - The shower curtain liner was too short and created issues with water getting out onto the floor! - The lighting above the vanity is way too dim. - There is too much stuff kept in the closet and makes for difficult storage. - The bathroom could/should be spruced up quite a bit. - THE KITCHEN - Shortage of glasses, steak knives, most all dinnerware, The ice dispenser on the fridge kept freezing up and causing issues.

Not worth the price being charged.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in prob 11 different units in this building. This unit is a 5 out of 10. Everything about this place was penny pinching. tv remotes batteries were dead I had to go buy some. beds are completely worn out and need to be replaced caused us major back pain. most of the furniture is very dated and needs replacing. kitchen cookware was sparse and utensils were cheap flimsy dollar store plastic . There was 1 dishwasher soap pod and only two trash bags for a 5 night stay. Ultra cheap LED light bulbs make the whole place look like a depressing hospital. Quality LED bulbs are cheap nowadays there simply is no reason not to use warmer color bulbs. Unit itself was in good shape. Location was great. But given the price and comparisons to other units in the building we probably won’t book this one again in the future.

July 2017 Stay

This unit is very nice & decorated beautifully, but it has some big shortcomings that need to be addressed. Bc it has such potential, if they are fixed,I want to leave a detailed review. The Kitchen The kitchen is poorly equipped & understocked. The knives are not sharp. Not even 1. There's not one that can cut a lemon or a tomato. For those of us who cook, this is just not acceptable. Forget cutting meat or vegetables. It's so disappointing. The ice cream scoop is awful. The egg turner/spatula is about to wiggle off the handle. The ceiling has water damage above dishwasher that looks really bad & needs repair. There are no plastic bowls w/lids (for storage in the refrigerator.) The lights in kitchen need the be brighter. The sink needs a dish drain. The blender is awful. It doesn't blend anything other than liquid. Forget smoothies or ice cream drinks. Please replace it with a higher quality blender. The dryer makes a horrible sound that definitely needs to be fixed or replaced.
