Welcome to Idlewild Inn — a 5-bedroom, 5-bath backyard playground on the shores of Lake Loveland, built for big groups who want to be together. Sleeps 14 across 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, with two full kitchens, two living rooms, and a cocktail lounge inside — plus a private hot tub, fire pit, sand volleyball court, mini golf, and full gym outside. Whether it's a bachelorette bash, family reunion, or team retreat, this place was made to host your group!

Idlewild was a great fit for our 3-generation family group. The house is well-equipped and provided plenty of room to spread out and relax. We loved just hanging on the back deck (temps mid 90s), and the kids loved the putting green, volleyball, darts, horseshoes, and ping pong. We had some great morning walks from the house. There are lots of sidewalks and it’s an easy walk to the River’s Edge natural area with wildflowers and bird life. Supermarket, pizza, Mexican food all nearby as well. Management was always helpful when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Another GREAT stay with Urbanize. The house has lots of room and plenty to do for everyone! My son-in-law was super excited to see the little putting green in the back yard and spent a lot of time using it. Urbanize has earned our business when traveling to Colorado!

We absolutely loved our stay at Idlewild! Our family trip was truly made when we arrived and saw all of the accommodations - complete with outdoor activities for everyone. We drank coffee every morning on the deck, enjoyed the hot tub and made memories with our nightly meals! If anyone is in need of a very accommodating house for a larger group - do not hesitate to book this gem.

Lots of space

We loved the location. It was in the high 90s most of the week so we were not outside as much as we wanted to be. So many things to do in the home and in the area we had a wonderful stay!

Home away from home!!!

This is such a cool home. Huge place, plenty of beds, great location, a lot of things to do. Sand volley ball, horse shoe pit, hot tub, dart board, arcade games, TWO kitchens. Our stay was amazing. We would stay here again and again.

Family Wedding

We travelled as a large family/friend group for my son’s wedding in Loveland. This property was centrally located to food, supplies, activities, everything. The property was clean with lots of activities for all ages. It was the perfect place to gather. It was also perfect for our brunch day as we all got ready for the ceremony. Looking forward to our next stay!!

Great house with cute retro feel. Awesome backyard with lots of entertaining activities for adults teenagers and kids. Lots of great driveway space for cars to be able to pull off busy road in front. Super amount of beds and bathrooms to accommodate a group

What you see, isn't what you get. This house was not clean, the bathroom showers had soap scrum. This home has been sadly neglected. All the outside activities are missing items, example: darts, horseshoes, horseshoe pit is in pieces, the volleyball net is saggy and old, and the hot tub is so dirty on the outside, we didn't even what to open the lid. The house needs pest control inside and out, due to all the cobwebs by the entry stairs, entrances and on the back patio. They need new cleaners, because all the windowsills had dead fruit flies everywhere. This was truly a disappointment. The management or homeowner charge top dollar but has neglect to put back into their property. We were compensated 10% and a cleaning deposit. They said that is the best they could do. I gave management a list of this to fix and they ended up sending someone out during our stay, however we were there for a wedding and could wait around. It needed cleaning and new updated stuff, which the handyman can't fix. Management thanked me for my input and was going to try and fix the items above. I feel that with this experience we will get a hotel if we every visit Colorado again.

Excellent House and Host

Our family had a fantastic time. The house was big and clean and beautiful. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Backyard was a huge hit with the fire pit, hot tub, volleyball court, horseshoes, and putting green. We would absolutely stay again in the future!!!

Perfect access to moby arena and interstate.

If your group will be attending activities at csu, this is your place. Get single turn availability to moby arena while still being close to the interstate. We ordered pizza when leaving the campus and arrived five minutes before they did. Thanks for an awesome stay!!!

Wedding stay

Pluses large backyard, plenty games, lake and parks nearby,bathrooms, fans in every bedroom, close to Sweetheart winery. Minuses traffic noise, AC only cools to 75 in 90 degree heat, Smart TV streaming only, need to be mindful of step down in living area. Overall pretty good spot for a large group

Graduation Stay

We have a lot of family from out of state and it was so wonderful that they could stay in the same house together instead of three different hotel rooms. The host was right on top of every request and message we sent and the house was beautiful and spacious with lots of fun activities for everyone. We will definitely utilize this convenience in the future

Round em Up Family Christmas 2023

We all got together at Idlewild for Christmas this year from NE, CO, PA and SC. There was something for everyone, games, hot tub, backyard space with fire pit, place to relax and read a book and an equipped kitchen to cook the holiday favorites. Fun was had by all!

Great spot next to the lake

Enough space for us to be comfortable in the house. We even had a family volleyball game! There aren’t screens on the windows so you are reliant on the HVAC unit which struggled on the hot nights and days. Hot tub was great.

The house was awesome and spacious! We were in town attending a softball tournament for a week and this house was perfect spot to host a team dinner due to all the outdoor amenities this house offered. The location was great and made moving around town very easy. I highly recommend this for anyone needing a large home, if we return next year we will most definitely book this house again. The management company was very responsive to all of our questions. One of the things I like most about this house was that it was fully stocked with coffee and supplies, spices, cleaning products, paper products, detergent (both dish/laundry), lots of towels, and additional bedding, fans, and so much more. I’ve rented plenty of VRBO’s over the years and none of them came this stocked. That alone is a huge savings and benefit.

Heat wave

The property was exactly as advertised. The weather was unusually hot during our week at this house. Temperatures from 95-105 were too much for the A/C unit to keep up. The property manager did as much as he could by providing portable a/c units and fans. However, the house heated up to an uncomfortable 80 most of the day. This is really the only complaint we had.

Poor Air Conditioning

The upstairs would not cool below 83 degrees and never went below 72 degrees over night. The basement has no air condioning at all. The property manager did bring 4 window A/C units on our 4th day that controlled the house temperature. The property is fantastic outside of this. Nice open space and a great back yard. I wouldnt recommend visiting in the summer months.
