Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review, we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that the home met your expectations and that you found it clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Creating a welcoming “home away from home” experience is always our goal, so it means a lot to know you enjoyed the space, location, and overall stay. We’re also glad our communication and flexibility with your early check-in helped make your trip smoother—that’s exactly the experience we aim to provide. Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the hot tub. We value insights like this and will certainly take it into consideration as we continue to improve the property. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would absolutely love to welcome you back anytime!

Thank you, Brenda, for your feedback & for choosing our home for your son’s wedding at Honsberger Winery. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful location, spacious home, kitchen & Niagara wine region. We’re sorry that some aspects did not meet your expectations. We continually update the home based on guest feedback and normal wear, including replacing furniture and adding amenities such as the foosball & pool tables. We recognize that our photos should reflect these changes & are updating the listing accordingly. This was an exceptionally busy summer with back-to-back stays, which limited the time available for non-urgent maintenance between guests. We appreciate you identifying the items requiring attention & our cleaning, maintenance & pool teams have been following up on them. The pool is professionally maintained, although the unusually frequent rainfall can temporarily affect water clarity and chemistry. We are also addressing the patio door, deck, shower, towels, supplies, appliance instructions and remote you mentioned. Regarding the garbage & recycling, collection is weekly, so bins may contain waste from the current collection cycle when guests arrive. We recognize that fuller bins can nevertheless be inconvenient & are reviewing how we manage this during busy periods. We appreciate your constructive feedback & we will use it to make further improvements. Most importantly, we’re pleased the location and space worked well for such a special family occasion.

It was truly a joy hosting you and your family. Thanks again for leaving the house in great shape and for your kind words throughout the stay. All the very best to you, and congratulations once again on the wedding celebration!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially for such an important occasion. That said, we respectfully disagree with several aspects of this review, as it does not accurately reflect the condition or standards of our property. In the weeks leading up to your stay, we hosted guests on three consecutive weekends, all of whom left 5-star reviews, specifically highlighting the cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation of the home. Our property is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to every check-in. Additionally, as part of our standard process, we reached out the morning after your arrival to ensure everything was satisfactory. We did not receive any concerns or issues at that time, and no opportunity was given to address or resolve any of the points mentioned in this review, something we always prioritize for our guests. We take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously, and while normal wear and tear can occur in a large, high-traffic home, we continuously invest in upkeep to ensure a high-quality experience. The claims made here are not consistent with our inspection records or the feedback we consistently receive from other guests. We remain committed to providing a great experience for all guests and encourage open communication during stays so any concerns can be promptly resolved.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful and detailed review! We’re truly delighted to hear that your stay was comfortable and that the space worked so well for your family, from the spacious bedrooms and heated floors to the well-equipped kitchen and relaxing master bath. We’re especially glad you enjoyed the location and were able to explore the nearby wineries and make a couple of trips to the Upper Canada Cheese Company, that’s one of our favorite local gems too! Knowing that your experience was smooth, stress-free, and memorable enough to recommend to others truly means a lot to us. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d absolutely love to welcome you and your family back anytime. Thank you again for choosing our home and for sharing such kind words!
