Peaceful, secluded retreat near Cave Run Lake with a relaxing back deck and a fire pit area to gather with friends and family. Perfect for those wanting to fish, boat, hike, or just get away from it all for a few days! There is plenty of room for parking vehicles and a boat. The cabin is surrounded by trees with only two other cabins on this road. The Daniel Boone National Forest and Licking River are within hiking distance. Morehead is approximately 10 miles away. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, a sleeper sofa, 1 bath and will comfortably sleep up to 5 people depending upon sleeping arrangements.

My June stay at this rental was excellent. The house was immaculate from top to bottom, and the host’s communication made everything smooth and stress‑free. I especially loved spending time on the balcony — the views were wonderful and the setting was peaceful. The area stayed quiet throughout my stay, with only the occasional vehicle passing by. The property was also very easy to find, which made arrival simple. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. Plenty of room. We ended up with 6 instead of 5 and we had plenty of room. The stairs are pretty steep not for older people, we the older ones slept on the pull out couch downstairs. With the foam. They provided it was very comfortable.

We had a difficult time finding CR-1277. It is not shown on the map and GPS would go down often. Once GPS was working we found CR-1277 but the road was Cornet Cem Rd. It would be good to note that in the directions.The place was great. My husband and I who are 77, slept downstairs and the younger guests upstairs.We recommend the cabin highly.

Nice cabin, private but near lake and several amenities. Host (Jill) was most courteous. Stayed 2 nights. Weather was cool but cabin stayed comfortable. Great getaway for 2-5 people...will probably visit here again! 5

A Great Spring Break

Great place-! Location was less than 5 minutes from family that just moved to the area and 10 minutes to a great boat ramp. Very private.

Will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay in this cabin. It was spotless, well stocked with everything we needed. Spacious first floor area and nicely decorated. Beautiful views with the fall leaves. Wish we had more time to spend at the cabin, but we will definitely rent again. Easy drive to Morehead State.

Weekend in Morehead/Cave Run Lake

This place was immaculate and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. It was perfect and I could tell our host had paid attention to details. Communication was quick and easy. I would definitely come back, and I wish all hosts were as accommodating!

Amazing Place!

The rental was extremely cozy and close to Cave Run Lake. The outdoor fireplace and fire pit were awesome for making s’mores with the family. The property manager checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Rowan County

Gracious Haven was a clean and welcoming place. The kitchen was well equipped as was the bathroom. There were enough beds for the four of us with comfortable bedding.
