An amazing stay with a great view, secluded and private, but not to far from town, lots of wildlife activity seen while enjoying the view. The house was clean and cozy and the perfect size for the two of us. Enjoyed everything this property had to offer, would definitely love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house and grounds were immaculate! The view is amazing and the firepit was a perfect way to end the day.

Everything was just perfect at the little rock house.The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal. A comfortable king bed and plenty of towels. The house was immaculate. Great communication with the host.

One of the best places EVER

Fabulous accommodations, close to Kerrville, private, STARS!!!, deer, and a comfortable place to stay near Fredericksburg (only 22 mins away) and Kerrville (5 mins away). Hill country place with super views!!

This is a quaint Little Rock house that has a spectacular view from the back. We didn’t use the fire pit as it was warm. The house itself was just right for a couple. The bathroom was large as were all of the rooms. Loved the new towels and washcloths and there were plenty of them. Bed was comfy enough. We would stay here again. No complaints!

Quiet Get Away Overlooking the Hill-Country

We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the beautiful hill-country views, watching the deer and sitting at the fire-pit in the evening. A great place to enjoy some peace and quiet!

Awesome

This place is awesome. Easy to check in and the Host is marvelous. The view ama quiet are just what was needed. There are deer that come to eat at the feeders and fun to watch. We will definitely try to stay here again.

The place was everything plus more! Very close to I-10 for convenience but far enough to not realize it was even there. A great place to escape to, such peace and quiet, which is hard to come by. We absolutely loved it! Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay again. Thank you Mendy for sharing your beautiful place!

Getaway cabin

Everything was perfect, the solitude, cozy feel, amazing hill country views down to the very well equipped kitchen. Bed was a dream as well. Loved seeing the deer and birds within sight of the cabin. Thank you!

Mendy hosted us for 6 weeks while we searched for a house to buy in the Kerrville area. Everything was wonderful at the little rock house. She was so polite and thoughtful of our needs. We were safe from the floods on her hilltop ranch and we were able to find our dream home. We would recommend her to anyone.

Another wonderful stay!

This is the second time in three months that my wife and I have had the pleasure of a weekend in this very special Texas hill country gem. We’re seasoned frequent VRBO’ers at locations throughout the country, and this is absolutely the best “couple” location… and we will return yet again.Every aspect of our visits here, from the cleanliness and perfectly-stocked aspects of the cabin, to the deer at the feeder off the back fire-pit area, to the juvenile bobcat that moved stealthily across the same area while they fed, to the star-studded midnight sky, to great hostess communications… all combine to make this location our number one favorite location of all.

Tranquility

We needed a couple of days to reset and have a peaceful, private getaway. The Rock House gave this all to us. We couldn’t have found a better place to unwind. Mendy has done an excellent job of making you feel at home and comfortable. We definitely will be back and more than likely, quite often.

The perfect place for a couple…

This little stone house is the absolute best place for a couple to relax in while nestled in the grandeur of the Texas hill country.The home setting is in a sequestered area of a working Texas ranch. Its elevation allows astounding (40 mile?) views, and the stars at night while sitting around the outside gas fire pit are amazing.The home itself is perfectly sized, appointed, and supplied with complete and top-of-the-line kitchenware, cutlery, etc.The home was exceptionally clean, seasoned wood was laid up for the fireplace, hostess communications were excellent… what more could we have asked for?We are seasoned, very experienced VRBO clients. This rental ranks as the very highest of locations for a couple-only rental. We will definitely return here again… sooner rather than later.

This property is exactly as it is portrayed in the listing. Very clean and comfortable, with everything you need to enjoy your morning cup of Joe on the back deck. My favorite part was the evening sunset out by the fire pit. We enjoyed watching the deer that came to visit along with various birds. This property is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life. It is very private and calming. The owner went above and beyond for us, even accommodating some special requests that I had ahead of our arrival. Unfortunately, I became ill and we had to cut our stay short. The kindness of this host will not be forgotten, we will be keeping this home on our list of places to revisit.

Beautiful property. Very quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view. No other people around which is exactly what we wanted. We made friends with a beautiful cat and loved watching the deer at the feeder. We will definitely be back on our next trip.
