We really liked the property. It was in a very scenic location and the views in the evening from the front porch were amazing! We were on motorcycles and the biggest challenge we had was with the driveway being pretty steep and deep gravel.

Everything was great! The host was a great communicator. The location of the property was perfect. It was so quiet. The property was clean and had everything we needed.

We do a lot of traveling and this has by far been one of the best stays. It's all in the details. The hospitality given from coffee pods to bug spray all the needs were met. I appreciate the owner and his prompt communication as well. We were very comfortable here during the summer visit. We appreciated the efforts put in to make this feel like a home away from home.

Quiet as advertised

It was a quiet retreat. Simple 3 bed 2 bath modular home with a cistern system for water. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely newly renovated cabin just outside of Hotchkiss. 3 very comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with air fryer, ice maker, coffee machine, microwave, stove etc. Fast WiFi.

We had a great stay and would happily give it a solid 4-star review. One of the highlights was the early mornings—the “bird show” was fantastic, especially watching the turkeys and geese go about their day. It added a fun, lively touch to the otherwise peaceful farm setting.Inside, the home is exactly as advertised: very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. It was an especially perfect cool, comfortable retreat for my granddaughter’s mother while she was recovering from the stress of her sister’s wedding business—she was able to truly rest and recharge.Now, with a bit of humor, I’d say privacy here is more of a gentle suggestion. The outdoor cameras are quite attentive, and with the landowner’s home just about 100 yards away, there’s a subtle sense of being… cheerfully supervised. Think of it as having very dedicated wildlife (and guest) observers nearby!All in all, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a charming rural backdrop—perfect if you don’t mind your outdoor moments having a slightly appreciative audience.

Quiet location and cozy house

The house was on a dirt road out of town, away from any street lights and the city. The front porch faces the beautiful scenery and we enjoyed the chairs in the evening and morning. The house had everything we needed including enough paper towels and toilet paper. Thanks for the dish soap, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. It is so nice to not have to travel with those items.We went to Big Bs orchard for their music festival to see the Wood Brothers.Thank you for letting us stay at your place!
