The Shaw Ranch. A custom luxury cabin nestled on 30 acres in hocking Hills completed in 2023. Cabin sleeps up to 10 people. 4 bedrooms with a picturesque basement living room that can sleep 2 more. Located just 10 minutes from Old Mans Cave. Cozy up to our on site Fire Pit and take in the amazing 360 degree views or Toss around a few bags of corn hole. Relax next to a warm Seasonal Fireplace in the Fall or Winter. This Place is the perfect place for friends or family. Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended. It was an amazing place that felt like home from the moment you walked in.

We loved that view and where the property was located. The size of the home made it enjoyable to stay with a larger group, and the deck was amazing to gather have some drinks and great conversations.

This was an amazing property. We stayed there over an extended weekend with a group of 8. It has great areas to gather but also spacious enough to get away when needed. Located in a great spot close to everything. Will come back for sure.

An amazing place to stay! House had everything we needed and plenty big enough for our group of 6. Able to utilize the yard for activities and the fire pit and hot tub did not disappoint. And the view never gets old!

An amazing place to stay!

House was well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty big enough for our group of 6. Able to utilize yard for activities. The fire pit and hot tub do not disappoint! And you cannot beat the view!

Beautiful cabin with great views!

We loved just sitting on the porch and looking out at the rolling hills! It was also great to soak in the hot tub and roast marshmallows over the fire at night!

The inside of the property is very nice with a few minor maintenence issues. Could use some curtains or shades on the basement bedroom as it sits right by the fire pit. Kitchen is well stocked but if you want to use the supplied ground coffee you need to bring your own coffee pot or a reusable kuerig pod. The outside was another issue. The flower beds were overgrown with weeds and the gutters were so full that the rain overflowed them and flooded the covered deck making it unusable during the rain and causing the cushions to be moldy. Location is super convenient for accessing both the town and the state park.

The property is beautiful. The cleanliness at check in was concerning. Hair on the bedding, moldy outdoor cushions, the hot tub was not filled up and was dirty, the furniture in the house is very stained, dirty utensils in the drawers and around the fire pit and the cleaning crew left all of their supplies and garbage at the front door. The second day we were there the water stopped working and they were very responsive to come fix it. The house is very nice but needs a good power washing and new outdoor cushions. There were not many utensils and glasses to use in the house. It was still a great trip despite the cleanliness issues.

We enjoyed our stay. We did have issues keeping the basement warm and getting the tv to work down there. Loved the outdoors of the property.

We had a really nice stay here, quiet peaceful and a beautiful setting. Lots of room and exceptionally clean house. Close to all hiking trails and parks, and communication with hosts was fast and easy, quick to answer any questions I had. Thanks!

Very beautiful home and comfortable beds. Constant issues with the TV and internet so that was a bit frustrating. Need to list on the site that the Grill is a charcoal grill so people know to bring charcoal. Also can open needs replaced or purchase a handheld one. The plates are old and warped from dish washer too. We used the paper plates I brought with us.

Clean, beautiful home. Property management was very helpful and responsive on VRBO for any questions. Only negative was the wifi. Our devices and the downstairs TV had very poor connection, which was disappointing because we planned to use the downstairs to watch a big football game. Upstairs TV worked fine. Overall, we still had a great time.

Had everything we needed

Great place! Kitchen with all the tools we needed to cook. Games for the kids. Appreciated the high chair. Beautiful property. Easy to drive to. Quiet. Comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Will come back!

Autumn Serenity & Solitude at the Ranch!

Our weekend stay was everything we could have asked for. The property is gorgeous & well manicured. We spent time at the fire pit & indulging in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked & we utilized the recommended chef who made our experience top tier. We brought our own dishware & I’m glad we did because we couldn’t find dishes that fit our aesthetic but that was a personal girls weekend preference. We would also recommend window dressings in all of the bedrooms. Everything else was perfect!
