The fully equipped kitchen is ready for all of your food enthusiasts adventures. Whip up delicious meals using the new gas range and enjoy them together in the adjacent dining area. Or, take your culinary creations outside one of two the private balconies, where you can dine al fresco while enjoying the gentle breeze and views of the surrounding neighborhood.

A compact washer and dryer are available for your use within the unit. There are also ample laundry mats nearby or next-day laundry delivery services.

Guest access:
You will have access to the entire upper level duplex. An off-street parking spot is also included in the rear of the home. Street parking is also available in front of the home.

Welcome to our charming vintage home on the upper level of a duplex! Here are some key features to know about your stay:

Layout:

The bathroom is accessible ONLY through two of the bedrooms, offering a unique and secluded setup. (View photos for home layout).

Shower Experience:

Indulge in a relaxing bath or shower in our vintage clawfoot tub. Please note that the shower head spout is approximately 5.5’ tall. For taller individuals, it can be adjusted to spray a bit forward for your comfort.

Stairs:

If you're coming to Minneapolis during the summer, please note that, like most old houses in this area, ours does not have central AC. Summer weather in Mpls is mostly wonderful-perfect for open windows-but it's also not unusual to get occasional hot, humid spells. There are 2 window AC units in the 2nd bedroom and dining room. These, plus standing fans, have done the trick for the home for decades, but if you need fully chilled air throughout the house, this one may not be for you in peak summertime.

Kitchen Delights:

Our fully-equipped kitchen is ready to fulfill all your cooking desires. However, there is no dishwasher. After the meal, the party can continue around the sink, creating lasting memories.

Seasonal Information:

Winter Retreat: From December to April, the porches are closed, creating a warm and cozy interior.

Summer Comfort:

In the summer months, we provide plug-in portable A/C units to keep you cool and comfortable during your stay.
