Overall, an excellent rental. I wish we had chosen different days of the week, so there would have been more activities available, but that is no fault of the rental or owner. Everything was great and would be an excellent place to stay again.

Great place to stay

Property is very clean and conveniently located. It was a great base for our long weekend around Stratton/Bromley. Would stay again when in the area.

Excellent stay! Communication with the owner George, was exceptional! The place was beautiful and very clean! Detailed check-in information was provided as well places to visit around the area.

Perfect stay!

Everything was perfect, nicely done, very clean, so organized - between the ski locker and the luggage carts, garage, access to everything, and the coziest stay! We can’t wait to stay there again! We’ve been coming to Stratton for years, and this was the easiest to get to the mountain through the village.

The unit was super clean. Very well appointed. It was wonderful to be able to just walk across the street to the village and the base. We went in the fall and enjoyed hiking on the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

Ski couples weekend

We loved the location of this property! The owners were helpful and detailed, making it easy to check in and navigate the property. Would definitely come back! Our weekend skiing was stress free!

Long Trail Stay

Great convenient location for skiing at Stratton. Clean, updated apartment with parking, comfy beds, great water pressure. Host was easy to communicate with and provided detailed instructions for check in and check out.

Nice place to stay

Great location. Parking is a bit tough in the building, but ended up ok. TVs did not work in the unit, which was a bummer for NYE, and property owner did not respond to emails about it, but otherwise, the place is top-notch.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay at our unit. Both Smart TVs are in working order. We provide a welcome booklet with instructions on how to turn on the cable-box to watch live TV. During check-in we ask that all guests call or text with any issues requiring immediate attention. We did not receive either. We wish you the best for your future travels.

We stayed in this condo for a week and did not want to leave. The furniture was very comfortable.The kitchen had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time relaxing out on the balcony. Loved the view of the mountains and the fountain. The owner was very responsive and gave lots of helpful recommendations. We look forward to staying here again next year!

Nice renovated unit,

Owners were great when I contacted them. Overall price seems high for a summer stay. Many fees made the price climb quickly. We had a nice stay and enjoyed our first trip to the area.

Thank you for the feedback. We're glad that you enjoyed your trip and our newly renovated apartment. We are priced competitively and all fees were disclosed at time of booking prior to payment. VRBO fees are out of our control. Vermont short-term rentals are taxed at over 10% which is charged on all units, including hotels. We provide discounts on stays for a week or longer.

Great location, and everything you need

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Long Trail house. Georg is a responsive and conscientious host and the property is recently refurbished and very clean. We very much enjoyed walking over to the slopes and then going into the hot tub at night. The kitchen is well equipped to make family meals and serve them by the fireplace with a view of a lovely ice rink. I thoroughly recommend this property.

Georg's place was so perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). It is beautifully remodeled, with lots of thoughtful touches to maximize the space and make it feel roomy, such as the queen sized Murphy bed in the living room for the kids and a huge wood countertop with seating for 5. The condo building was great too. Underground parking (saved us having to dig our car out of a foot of snow), ski lockers in the lower floor, 2 outdoor hot tubs and a heated pool (which felt great even during a snow storm and 5 degree weather!), all located right across the street from the Stratton village. The kitchen had everything you would need for the meals you didn't want to eat out in the Village. I honestly can't think of a single reason we wouldn't stay here every time we came to Stratton!

Cozy stay in Stratton

We loved our weekend in Stratton - despite the freezing temperatures! Such a bright and cozy spot. Well stocked, clean and nicely decorated. A nice view of the ice skating rink outside. Having a parking spot in the garage and access to a ski locker was very helpful. Proximity to the village and mountain can’t be beat. Maybe slightly stronger water pressure in the shower - but that’s as much as we could give in terms of a critique. The space isn’t huge but there are so many hooks (which may seem minor, but a really big help!), a closet and space under the bed that we had spots for all of our stuff. Georg was incredibly responsive and communicated all necessary details from the moment we booked until departure. The detailed check-in instructions were perfect - the whole process was very smooth and seamless. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend! Thanks again Georg!

A great stay

Everything was nice, clean and comfortable. There is a Keurig so bring k cups if you have them or you can use the regular coffee pot. There are bath and body hand soap dispensers at both the kitchen and bathroom sinks and there are paper towels also. Bring tissues if you don’t want to use toilet paper on your nose. There are 2 digital alarm clocks. The ice rink pond didn’t open while we were there, possibly because the temperature outside was too warm. There was a standing tower fan and a smaller tower style heater in the master closet. The water gets hot quickly and there was plenty of pressure. When you pull into the parking garage, you can park anywhere you want. The elevator is around the first corner and we never had to wait for it.

Hi Dana, thank you for the 5-star review and we appreciate the constructive feedback. There are supposed to be Keurig pods in the kitchen cabinets. Last I checked about 3 weeks ago there were over 90 left. We will check to see if they need to be restocked. We will re-introduce tissue boxes for next season. Thank you for staying with us!

Perfect in every way!

Georg made us feel confident in our choice as soon as we booked the unit. Communication with him was easy, quick and clear from emails (with detailed check in-check out instructions) to texts. The unit is in a perfect location, across the street from Stratton village (no hills!). We rented skis/snowboard so we did not have to use the lockers in the condo building (the rental stored overnight). Quick stroll through the village to equipment and lifts! The unit was updated, cute, clean and comfortable. Reading on the couch with the fireplace on, looking over the frozen pond with a cup of tea was very cozy!We were there mid-week so not everything was open but the small market was (we forgot to pack shampoo!) and their deli was very very good (we went twice!). There were restaurants and markets 20-30 minutes away - the underground parking made it easy to get in and out.There are a lot of choices for accommodations there but this unit was perfect, we would stay again!
