The Earth House was a great stay. It was easy to find and within walking distance of the downtown. Sleeping accommodations were comfy and the kitchen has most of what we needed for a short stay. The decor was fun. We recommend.

This was a great stay for my sister and I to enjoy Witches Night Out 2026. The space is soooooo cute and well utilized. Great hosts!! They provided some snacks, had fully stocked coffee area, super clean, and just an overall fun atmosphere. It was SO close to downtown, too, which was great for the event.Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for cozy and cute, and the owners were excellent to work with and quick to respond to anything we needed.Thank you!!!

This was a great property and the pictures don’t really do it justice. The town of Mount Horeb is a quick walk from the property which just adds to the experience. The host was a great communicator and even checked in on me when it was thunderstorming. Would stay again in a second.

Stayed only one night, but somehow got emotionally attached to this place immediately. Super clean, cozy, & way nicer than expected. The bed was dangerously comfortable, I seriously considered calling in sick just to stay longer.Host was awesome, everything was easy, & the whole place just had good vibes. 10/10 would absolutely stay again for longer next time!

Great little getaway, close to downtown

We had a nice time here. Easy to get in and out. Very accommodating and clean! Pretty cool place to stay in!

Winter weekend Getaway

Fun property! Super comfortable accommodations and the host thought of everything to make us feel at home. Only a block off Main Street and in walking distance to the great shops and restaurants

Great place, great location and unique. We loved the place and the location. The decoration was unique, fun and you can tell they put a lot of thought into it. We were so happy not to be staying in generic hotel room. Also a lot of nice touches like coffee, creamer and a few snacks. Very quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to all stores and restaurants in Mt. Horeb. Thanks for the great stay!

Unique, cozy getaway!

I had the pleasure of spending a short weekend at The Earthhouse BnB in Mt. Horeb, and it was absolutely wonderful! The property is tucked away in a serene, peaceful location that provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The BnB itself is charming and cozy, with unique touches that made it feel like a true home away from home.

This accommodation is a downstairs apartment. I use VRBOs because I don’t want to live with the host. I drive an extra large vehicle and would have liked to park it off of the street.With the above said, I slept well and my truck was okay on the street…maybe I need to read the property details more closely but I use VRBO so I can depend on being alone.

The EarthHouse is wonderful. We experienced a nice clean comfortable space. The decorations were amazing with a mix of antiques and modern decor. We could tell the hosts were creative and artistic. The hosts gave us plenty of coffee, which I appreciated. The town is beyond charming. I highly recommend both a visit to the village of Mount Horeb as well as staying at the EarthHouse!

Comfortable and Fun Decor

We enjoyed all the different lighting throughout the home. It is decorated quite lovely. The living room is beautiful. The bedroom is romantic and comfortable. The kitchen and bath have all the things to make staying here very relaxing.

Awesome Host and Wonderful Stay...

The eclectic decor made us want to stay longer. The host thought of everything, from small bathroom amenities to games and goodies. Staying here puts you about 20 minutes from Madison and Mount Horeb is a very nice town with plenty of shops to spend your time in. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you, Pamela.

We really enjoyed having Marvin and his family stay at The EarthHouse. They were super excellent guests that really seemed to enjoy their stay. I highly recommend Marvin! I had a wonderful experience at the earthhouse. Pam and graham were in contact prior to my arrival with detailed instructions for entrance to the home. It was incredibly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the amenities were top tier. I had a great time as I was in Madison for a comedy show about 30 mins away. Thank you for your hospitality, I had an amazing weekend in Wisconsin, was worth the drive from Iowa city for sure! Highly recommend

The EarthHouse is a Gem!

I had a wonderful stay at the EarthHouse. The accommodations are perfect, from the ease of check-in, the highly communicative and accommodating host, to the fun art deco/artistic flare to the warmth of the place itself with a small kitchenette and its amenities to the comfortable den and bedroom. The drive is a quick 20-25 minutes to Madison during off-peak hours and a quaint way to experience this locale of Wisconsin. Highly recommend!

Girls' Weekend

My friend and I have known each other since we were 17 years old. We're now senior citizens and meet up at least once a year. We had a delightful weekend!

& delightfully decorated. Enough supply of coffee to get us through till we could get to the store. They were quick to replace bulbs that burnt out. Kept us informed when the power had gone out on the block. Very friendly to talk with. Loved staying here & most likely will again.

Ground yourself in this gem after a travel day, or choose it as a destination and travel from here! Decorated with panache and style, it's fun, eclectic and has a chic vibe that must be experienced! Quiet, dark at night for optimal sleep. Little bistro table and chairs outside to enjoy refreshments or read in a nice neighborhood. Walking to shops, dinner, coffee or cocktail is easy! Clean! Well-stocked kitchen! Coffee maker*yey!!!!!! Plush towels and great lighting in bathroom. Awesome light throughout for perfect ambience. Romantic? Yes! Getaway w your bestie? YES! 10-star rating! Pamela is over-the-top easy to communicate with and cares about your comfort. We will return!
