Step back in time and enjoy a cozy getaway in this charming 1892 historic cottage, tucked beside a beautiful historic Morgan home in downtown Ocala. Just a short walk from the downtown square, this private cottage combines historic character with modern comforts—perfect for a romantic escape, weekend getaway, or relaxing extended stay.

Your Private Cottage

This approximately 400-square-foot cottage features a private entrance, bedroom, bathroom, and an inviting living room and kitchen. A private screened breezeway offers a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed, closet, desk, iron, ironing board, and extra pillows and blankets. The bathroom includes a rain showerhead, fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The living area offers a cozy loveseat, Smart TV, and dining bar with stools. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and everyday essentials. An all-in-one washer and dryer adds convenience for longer stays. We also provide a welcome treat to help you start your first morning.

Relax and Unwind

Enjoy access to the shared back deck, where you’ll find a six-person hot tub, gas grill, outdoor dining table, and comfortable outdoor furniture. It’s a wonderful place to unwind after exploring Ocala.

Take an easy walk of about half a mile to the downtown square for restaurants, bars, shopping, live music, and local events. Enjoy the monthly First Friday Art Walk and Saturday farmers market. It was a perfect place fenced in yard for my dog to run around, and centered around the town of ocala. Bed was comfortable I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Nice place - pups loved the back yard especially the biggen ! Slightly smaller than expected and probably should have chosen the bigger unit. Loved the Market just not as much to do downtown as hoped. Nice location unfortunately more rain than would have wanted as well. Bed comfortable and kitchen somewhat cramped. Overall relaxing stay!!

Yes the cottage is a quaint spaces as advertised, sorry about the rain, wish I had control over it. For a small town, downtown does have a great deal to of offer with restaurants and live entertainment but not the big city for sure. Glad you seemed to enjoy the major of your stay here.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable, quiet cottage. Close to a lot of restaurants downtown within 15 minute walking distance. Plenty of parks nearby surrounded by lovely historic mansions. I enjoyed the back deck, drinking my morning coffee and also enjoyed the screened front porch. Highly recommend and we are looking forward to going back again. I also hear the mansions surrounding the neighborhood really enjoy decorating for Halloween and Christmas.

Excellent location and perfect for an o right while traveling. Cottage had everything you need and a great yard and neighborhood for walking. Would stay again.

Very clean, great location , great communication with host. Very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is a little cramped and the one counter was a bit high for someone 5’2”!

I'm glad you enjoyed everything about the Cottage but it is a cottage by description it's small. It's a cottage. And as described it's 400sf, The bar height is standard height for a bar counter. I'm sorry it was not accommodating to your hight

Property is a bit hidden away,, we passed it at first and had to circle back and drove very slowly. It is tucked back on the property and gas a grass driveway.Cottage is perfect for 2 people, good sized sleeping room, kitchen, and bathroom. Nice sitting area in the back as well as a screened seating area in the front. It was clean and comfortable.

Perfect for our needs. We were in town for volunteer work for the week and just needed a place to crash at night. Great cottage in a fun historical area with plenty of food options nearby.

Adorable cottage

My daughter and I had everything we needed for our short stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and convenient to shops and restaurants. Would book again for another stay.

Wonderful dog friendly cottage

Nice neighborhood, cute well cared for cottage. Pet friendly, huge yard to walk our dogs. Overall a wonderful weekend stay, highly recommended.
