We had a wonderful stay at John's vacation home. The house was perfect for our family and very clean! The property is beautiful and loved the cozy and inviting feel of the home...would definately stay here again...John is very good at communication if we had any questions...

This was our 6th visit. We have a family vacation with ages 2-70 years. Very accommodating for all. Great outdoor area for frisbee golf, baseball, photos and more. Will be heading back next year for sure.

Great space and setting for a larger group …lawn games, expansive porch with an outdoor fireplace, and a floor plan gives people their own space but also has great rooms for gathering. It’s about a 10-min drive to the center of Cashiers, so it’s close enough to run in for a meal or to pick up supplies, but secluded enough to be peaceful and feel very private. Third time we’ve been and won’t be the last.

Best place I can imagine for a family Vacation. We have stayed here 5 or 6 times for a week at a time and love going back. The house is charming and the location and views are wonderful. We go with our 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Would also be ideal for 4 couples. The host, Gig, is terrific. Can't say enough about it

We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for a better house to gather for good meals (kitchen is fully stocked) and great views (from inside and outside).You can tell the home has been lovingly cared for over the years. We hope to return again.

Gig is the best - it’s hard to capture the full beauty in pictures alone - just a gorgeous piece of property - almost 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. Beautiful cabin. Strategically located between Cashiers and Highlands.

Gig made sure we had all the information we needed. The rustic cabin was beautiful and the views from the home were breathtaking. We had 15 people and were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

"A family heirloom!"this best describes the experience staying at this lodge.The information on vrbo is accurate, no boasting or over advertising and yet omits how wonderful the entire set up is. Warm to the eyes and mind, comfortable and spacious for our crew.We very much enjoyed the lodge home & learning about its evolution to being "the Family Gem on loan" when you stay here.Communication with Gig was timely and clear, we will be back!!!

This was the best cabin we have ever stayed! The cabin had so much family history which made it even more special! The cabin was spotless and had the perfect touch with everything! Amazing views of the property! We didn’t want to leave! Our host was so sweet and very helpful and kind! We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful Property | Wonderful Stay

My family (adults, children, and a dog) rented Gig's property for a week in October 2024. The house and property were beautiful. We loved our stay and cannot wait to return!
