Located so perfectly on a corner of the Central West End, this historic home could tell the best stories. With a massive 2 floor deck overlooking the front courtyard you are steps away from all the dining, night life and close to the Chess Club. BJC and Children's hospital around the corner. Easily walkable to Euclid & McPherson, Maryland Plaza, Lindell and Cathedral Basilica of St Louis. You can dine, walk, drink, and shop all within easy walking distance to everything in the Central West End. Downtown is not far either! Easy uber ride/drive to St Louis Cardinals games, Blues Hockey or anything in the city.

Remodeled kitchen with island, quartz counter tops, gas oven/stove and sub zero fridge. Brand new remodeled main luxury suite of 1000 sq feet on the 3rd floor with incredible dual walk-in shower, laundry, desk and closet. Original pine floors, pocket doors and craftamanship form 1902 in the rest of house. 1GB internet with wifi6 is free of charge and works great on all the floors.

Excellent stay just be mindful of the weather

Weather related conditions are preventing me from giving a 5/5 review. The front steps, which are steep, were completely covered in ice. Luckily there was an alternative entrance however I struggled with the front steps for a while because I wasn’t aware of that entrance until reaching out to the property owners.( Thankfully the property owners were excellent and quick communicators!) At night, the wind was causing some door or window to bang loudly all night. The first night it was terrifying, the next few nights it just obnoxious. On the final night we could not get the house warm whatsoever. The temperature was around 10 degrees outside and with all the windows and patios the house was freezing. Despite these things I would absolutely recommend and book again! This is just an honest and transparent review of my stay. I debated posted this because everything else was a 10/10.

Location, location, location

St. Louis is an amazing city for children and families so you want to be close to the park, science center, the Soulard, etc. This home brings you right into the CWE. A short walk to the shops down the street. The neighborhood felt safe and we took several walks down Pershing Avenue with our dog at sunset to look at the beautiful homes and vibe.

Family stay for WashU graduation

We were in St Louis with family.for my son's graduation. The house had plenty of space for everyone to be together and have time apart. Close to campus, and close to great dining and bike trails. Wonderful older neighborhood with other beautiful old homes. If you stay on a Saturday, check out Tower Grove Park's farmer's market. Straubs is a close location for groceries. Would definitely recommend for families.

Beautiful home perfectly located for a CWE visit

I visited the Central West End of St Louis with a few friends/colleagues for a business retreat. This house was perfect! It had a great blend of a historical feeling with many modern touches. Check-in and out was easy, beds were very comfortable, house was spotless, and there is a lovely backyard and upper balcony. It was a perfect retreat spot with several areas for us to work and gather for discussions. It would be very comfortable and perfect for a family as well. Perfect location with easy access to a bookstore, Jenni’s ice cream, coffee and breakfast, as well as restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!!

We love the easy access to shopping, dining and groceries. You will love the walks, the trees and the great things to do in the CWE. It's ideal for visiting forest park, BJC and the surrounding areas.

the primary suite upstairs is our dream floor. We designed it as it was going to be our forever home. The shower has two complete separate rain shower heads and is big enough for a group. Has a great soaking tub, en-suite washer & dryer and massive closet. the kitchen is also fantastic for cooking and hosting. All beds are Tuft & Needle and provide a fantastic nights sleep. We love this home, its location and its story of who built it in 1902.
