Pool is beautiful and was clean upon arrival and was cleaned again while we were here (we stayed two weeks). House is clean and quiet. Air conditioning is excellent- it was high 90’s outside our entire stay so a/c was needed! Our host was very friendly, respectful and responsive. My only disappointment was the diving board was broken and was removed before we got here. Not a huge deal we still dove at the deep end of the pool where the diving board had previously been mounted. A few minor maintenance issues but nothing major; one broken cabinet door in kitchen but just appears a screw fell out. Overall an excellent experience and we would stay here again in the future!

Clean and comfortable house

This house was just as listed. The home was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.

The pool oasis was a bit of a stretch. The pictures were obviously not taken recently. When we arrived the outside of the house was very dirty, the lawn had not beem mowed in likely weeks, the back yard was very overgrown. The patio furniture was missing several cushions, there were pool toys scattered everywhere, the umbrella was broken and laying over the fire table. The pool was very dirty and the pool skimmer to clean it was broken. There are several wasp nests under the patio and the front porch. We had to clean off the patio before we could attempt to enjoy it. The fence had fallen over in a large section near the busy road. Inside the house appeared clean at first look. But the freezer had previous food in it. The coffee pot had old grounds in it. One of the kitchen cabinets was hanging off the hinges. The main bathroom had no hot water in the shower. The towel rack was hanging off the wall. The master bath toilet was not bolted to the floor or was broken and one of the sinks had no cold water. The remote for the TV had several buttons that didnt work. Multiple blinds in the dining room were broken and missing slats. They finally came to mow the yard the day before we checked out. There was no info for the wifi and no instructions for check out as to what we needed to do. We stripped all the beds and did the dishes and took out the trash as you normally would with any rental. For the price it is not a place we would stay again.

Nice place!

The house was very clean and roomy. The host responded promptly when we had questions. The kitchen could use a bit more cooking utensils (pots/pans) but it worked for us because we dined out a lot.

Great place with awesome pool!

The host was very responsive. Addressed any questions very quickly. The backyard has a salt water pool and trampoline. My nieces and nephews came over and didn’t want to leave. We thought the house was very well laid out.

Nice property

Booked this property based upon the pictures of the pool and the outside. Would have been nice to know that the pool was not functional for the trip. (Please let guests know when pool season is in Arkansas.) Would have been good if the outside furniture was clean and we could have enjoyed that also. Overall, it is a nice property.

The property description said that the couches in the living room doubled as a sleeper sofa, that information was false. The bedroom directly beside the bathroom off the kitchen, had a white headboard, upon checkin we noticed that bed was very unsteady and leaning, we rearranged the room to allow the bed to lean against the wall, my 6 year old grand daughter laid down in the bed and the bed frame broke. The master bathroom shower knob was backwards and nothing was said about it. Bathtub in the master bath has jets, but could not get jets to turn on. The pool was AMAZING, diving board was taken down before we arrived but we didn’t mind. Pool cleaners came twice in 7 days to ensure the pool was clean. Outside play equipment was very sturdy, 6 and 3 year old has no issues playing on it at all, trampoline was nice also. We checked in on a Monday and the grass was tall, but was cut by Tuesday without asking. The fence in the back yard was 60% down, both gates were broke, I was able to rig the gates to ensure safety for my two grandkids but still needs fixed. Outside trash cans were full on Monday when we checked in, trash didn’t run until Friday (not the owners fault but they could’ve emptied the cans before hand.) I suggest bringing your own blankets, only 3 comforters were provided and a few throw blankets. Water and ice maker in the freezer do not work due to fridge not being connected to water. Outside fire pit worked great, ran out of propane by night 3, easy to use to.

Thanksgiving Getaway

The house is very nice. The front entrance was a little unkept. Many spider webs that have obviously been there a while. The home itself was beautiful, however the fireplace and jetted tub were inoperable. One of the reasons we chose this house was for those amenities. The backyard was great!!! We enjoyed using the fire pit and sitting around visiting and joking with each other. Overall, it was a great experience. The minor things I have noted are just for future reference.

The listing advertises a pool oasis with firepit. The pool wasn't functioning, which is fine because it was April, but I doubt it will be swimable come summer so hopefully the listing changes. The gates around the back yard were all broken and open or wouldn't latch so it's not ideal for pets. The yard was overgrown and the play set was a little sketchy for my 2 year old to be playing on (had parts broken on the slide). Back patio furniture was not as pictured or kept up with. Swim toys and cushions were all over the place and dirty. The listing said the couches had pull out beds, but they did not. We did find air mattresses in the closet so that worked for the kids, but not for my 86 year old grandmother. Garage door is not operable. I wasn't given check in instructions so I had to call the host who verbally gave me the code over the phone and said he sent me check in instructions but I never received them. I had to message him regarding check out instructions. Inside the house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of linens and dishes.

Great spot, will go again!

We had a fabulous time at this house. The house was great, plenty of towels. , shampoo, TP, etc. We did get delayed checking in for about 45 min and had to message/call a few times. Luckily we had family close so just went to there house til we heard back. We also didn’t get the WiFi info. It’s really helpful when the WiFi info and clean up requirements are on a laminated paper on the refrigerator. We also couldn’t use either fire pit. One was overgrown and the other we couldn’t figure out. We didn’t know the pool maintenance is on Tuesday so a random man was back there which freaked me out initially. Also says it’s dog friendly but there is no latch on the gate or a back fence. Labels on lights are helpful too. We’re also not used to the wolf spiders, yikes! There were some wasp nest outside too, so maybe some pest control. All quick/easy fixes. We’re thinking about renting it next year too!

Upon arrival, there were dirty sheets from a previous stay, beds not made, dust and dirt everywhere. We did talk to the host, who apologized and said he would call his cleaning lady. He suggested we stay somewhere else, but there were no hotels available in Cabot. His cleaning lady was there was from 7:30- 9pm and only cleaned the bathrooms and made the bed (with the sheets WE washed on our own). At 9 she said she needed to leave and she would come back in the morning to finish the job. We got home from around 12 and nothing else had been cleaned. We asked for the first night to be refunded and he refused. After several negative back and forth conversations, we ended up getting VRBO involved. To top it all off, we left my daughter’s brand new Comfrt sweatshirt in the laundry room. I immediately messaged him and said he would mail it back. Weeks later, he said it was never found. I typically don’t leave such harsh reviews, but, I don’t have anything nice to say. The host lives in a different state and has clearly not seen his property in some time. The pictures someone else posted on here were truly accurate as far as the grounds look and are probably worse now. I wouldn’t waste my time if you are truly seeking a “pet friendly, pool oasis” or whatever is posted. The pool liner is peeling, the water is green and unusable, the yard hasn’t been mowed in years. The fence is not even standing in certain spots and holes in other areas of the fence. Completely inaccurate description.

Although we originally booked this home because it was pet friendly, we opted not to bring our little maltipoo. The home was spacious and comfortable; the sheets were soft, the beds and pillows nice. However, there was no WiFi for the entire time of our stay, and the fireplace did not work, which took away the ambiance of a cozy Christmas getaway. The left sink in the master bath had no cold water, although the right side sink was fine. Several lights in the master vanity were out. All the appliances in the kitchen worked fine, but the ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator did not work, so we had to buy ice. The dishwasher and washing machine were also very loud. The backyard was a mess. There were leaves in the pool, and most concerning was that there was no safety rail around the pool. We are aware that there are different standards for different locations, but we would not have brought a toddler to this home during warmer weather for fear of an accidental drowning. The firepit outside worked fine, but we needed to wipe down the furniture (luckily we had brought some cleaning wipes, because there were no spray cleansers in the house, although there was plenty of dish soap and dishwasher detergent, as well as laundry detergent.) We also had no check-out instructions, so we stripped the beds, took out the trash, wiped down as much as we could in the kitchen, started the dishwasher, and put all the towels and sheets in the laundry room.

Disappointed in property

The inside of the house was as the photos indicated but the outside was a huge disappointment. The front porch was dirty and the rugs were piled in a corner. There were many large spider webs right as you walk up to the porch. The front grass had been mowed but the back yard had high weeds and the pool was dirty. The property advertised pets were ok but the back yard was not completely fenced. We could find only two bath wash cloths and 3 towels in the entire house. There was no dishwashing cloths or drying towels in the kitchen. Also, there were basically no pots/pans to cook with. I did call and speak with the owner about these issues … he sent someone out to mow the grass and clean the pool. He asked what I thought would be a fair refund for these issues and I requested he talk it over with the other owner of the property and let me what they felt was fair. I never heard back from him. I believe it was on our 2nd day at the property my dog alerted me that someone was in the yard. I looked in the driveway and say a car there and when I looked in the back yard there was an unknown man using the hose giving his dog a bath! The umbrella on the back porch had fallen over on the patio furniture and just left that way so the patio couches could not be used. My husband and I tried to lift it but we are both in our 70’s and it was just too heavy. The owner was made aware of this also but no attempt was made to correct it. I am attaching several photos but can send more.
