Very clean, well kept property! Host was great! It’s pet friendly which was the top reason for choosing it (other than the view and the price)! I will definitely love to come back! Beautiful quiet neighborhood also!

This house is amazing. It had everything we needed and then some. It had a great energy to it too. I have rented many vacation homes and while this wasn't the most "fancy" and large that I have rented, this was by far the best experience and feel! Everything you need is at your fingertips. Also, the view was beautiful and the community peaceful.

Very nice waterfront cottage!! We enjoyed the deck immensely and even got to see bald eagles on almost a daily basis. The cottage amenities were perfect for us and our pups. There are ample kitchen tools if you want to cook and for that one night out, make sure you visit the Riverside just 4 miles away! Beautiful place! Would (will) absolutely visit again!!

We have stayed here before and like before it exceeds expectations. Rachel is a great host and thinks of everything. The home is welcoming and comfortable.

Very nice little place really enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the firefly's at night . Loved having use if the Blackstone and the place was very neat and tidy.

Great stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the KnotR Lake cottage. It was so clean and meticulously decorated! The view from the deck was beautiful and the area was centrally located to great food and to the Edinboro campus. Thank you for great communication and fantastic stay!

Teenage get away

Everything was PERFECT!!! Every single need, and more, was met at this rental. It was clean, inviting, homey and made our stay in Erie incredible! Great place! Great hosts!!!

Pretty view

Place was really nice and well maintained. Bathroom a bit cold but had a nice towel warmer for when you got out. The front balcony was fantastic for sunset views.

Loved our stay here. Next time, we would want to use the bunkhouse, as four large adults were not made for the space. The host thought of everything, stocked firepit, grilling and cooking options, bicycles to use, Honestly they were extremely helpful and gracious and would love to spend more time on this lake!

Home away from home!

Perfect stay for our family of 4 (plus our pup)! The details were perfect and the communication was wonderful. We all enjoyed the newly added deck, and the little bunkhouse was so cute! You won't be disappointed!

Like staying at your best friend’s house

Everything was perfect. House was inviting and comfortable - felt like I was at my best friend’s house. Host thought of every possible thing a person could need and it was all there. Quiet spot, wonderful outdoor space, and excellent all around. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

House itself was clean ,but location is awful , then property is under surveillance which guests are not informed about that. I felt they are watching us like we are thief’s. I felt we are being listened outside and inside of the house. We are renting through the Vrbo for several years during whole year but this was our the worst experience.First like this but the worst.

I am sorry you feel this way. Our location and description is very well documented in the listing as are the rules concerning the Lake and animals. You did not book for a pet and when my husband was in the area for routine maintenance, he noticed a dog. I contacted you through VRBO and requested the fee which was the appropriate action to take via VBRO. You even acknowledged your lack of reading the listing completely in not one but two messages you sent me via VBRO. One of which came the day before you were set to arrive so you could have canceled. As far as the surveillance goes we do have outdoor cameras--again that is in the listing--that we turn off once our guests arrive but we absolutely do NOT have indoor cameras. I would suggest you read the full listing and follow the booking rules and perhaps your experiences will be better.

Amenities Galore

Although we only stayed for a weekend, we had a wonderful stay. Our dogs stayed with us, and we were very impressed with the cute little dog basket with doggie needs in the laundry room. Our daughter also loved the "spa" atmosphere and the numerous options available to pamper herself during our stay. Cozy little getaway with a lake view and had everything we needed and more for our weekend getaway!

The cabin was just what we needed as a quiet getaway from caring for our mother in her last days. It was a great little place to refresh and enjoy some peace and stillness. When we arrived the geese were still on the lake but while we were there the surface froze and became covered with a thick blanket of snow. Very pretty! The cabin was clean, well stocked, and suited our needs perfectly. The host was very responsive and flexible as our reservation had to change a bit a couple of times due to unanticipated needs. Would definitely stay there if in the area again!
