2 Room Suite In Beautiful Barton Hills-Perfect for SXSW, ACL and Barton Springs

The perfect location for ACL, SXSW, and F1 Circuit of the Americas! Located in quiet Barton Hills in the ever-so-cool 78704 district, you’ll find many amenities and conveniences. Two miles from Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, Downtown, South Congress (SOCO) and 3 blocks from the nearest bus stop.
The suite sleeps 2 comfortably in a king size bed and there is plenty of room to relax with a separate parlor and is separated from the rest of the house by a locked door.
Please note: while there is a refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker, there is no kitchen.
Just off South Lamar (SOLA), our location has many restaurants and boutiques, along with plenty of local nightlife.
The area has several movie theaters, grocery stores and department stores and the nearby bus stop has lines going to downtown, South Congress, far South Austin and Barton Creek Square Mall which is only 3 miles away.
With trailheads for the Barton Creek Greenbelt nearby you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and swimming.

Peaceful respite

We loved our stay for ACL. It was exactly what we needed -- peaceful, relaxing, and clean. All the amenities we needed and a perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay of three nights in this quiet neighborhood home. The bed and room were comfortable and the surrounding garden landscaping was beautiful. We would highly recommend to others

Comfy and convenient spot

Stayed here during ACL and it was a great spot. Located close to a main road with bus stops, many different store/restaurants within walking distance. Nice house and front yard is fun place to sit and that with friends.

Best stay in Austin!

The most cozy home in town! This is definitely a weekend getaway to remember... a home away from home :) My husband and I will definitely stay here the next time we come to the city. I can’t thank you enough for it all!

Great stay

It was a great experience. The iron didn't work and the fire detector kept going off, but other then that everything was great.

Wonderful stay

Excellent experience from the moment we booked. Clear communication, easiest check-in imaginable, and a beautiful house to stay in. By far the cleanest and most thoughtfully appointed accommodation we've ever experienced. Cannot recommend this stay highly enough. Thank you very much, Robert and Inge!

Location!! It’s close to so many things. You can start a hike right outside the front door. It’s cozy, clean and cute. All kinds of decorative items that are interesting.

Loved!

This was the perfect place to stay for us, very peaceful, and well kept. I loved the extra touches they included, from the variety of coffees and teas to seeing creamer in the fridge. The location was perfect to all the areas we wanted to see. Thank you Robert and Inge!

we were told nobody else would be in the house with us. They lived in the house in the back. However, when we arrive, we could hear them very clearly in our room with the door shut.

The guest was never told that no one else would be in the house. The property details clearly state: 1. The suite sleeps 2 comfortably in a king size bed and there is plenty of room to relax with a separate parlor and is separated from the rest of the house by a locked door. 2, LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PET ALLERGIES AS WE HAVE A DOG AND CAT IN OUR SEPARATE PART OF THE HOUSE. In addition, in the message sent to all guests, it states that "The front of the house and front yard are yours to enjoy as we live in the back. Let us know if you have any questions." We have had many guests since using VRBO with excellent reviews and not problems with this issue. Reading the property description before booking and welcome message should prevent any confusion. Beautiful place. Relaxing. Awesome location.

My Wife and I stayed here for the ACL Festival. It is approximately 2 miles from the event, which made it a great place to stay. It is also located right off of Lamar that is a great area w/ bars, restaurants and shops. And not far from downtown. The bedroom and living area are perfect for two. The house is quite and quaint. We will definitely try to book next time we are in Austin and will recommend it to friends.

Quiet and convenient

We came to Austin to visit family living in the neighborhood, and this suite was just the perfect spot for our stay. It is within walking distance, and so we could come and go at will without need of a vehicle. A definite choice for the future if we again find no room in the family 'inn.' The hosts are very accommodating and clearly take pride in the home they share.

Easy

I got exactly what I hoped for- a quiet, clean place in a great location. I was hardly there so didn’t actually meet the owners (but there wasn’t a need).
