The owners are great to work with and respond quickly to questions. Their collection of young kid’s toys/books is awesome. Constant upgrading. This is our second year and love it!

Great weekend get away

It was perfect for us out of towners to go to a family wedding and have a nice place to stay after!!!

The prettiest little lake!

Stella Place exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The view, the sweet little beach and fire pit, how well-appointed and organized the home was, with everything in its place. We rented the on-site pontoon boat for the day and had a blast. Also, Allison and Jared, our hosts, were incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely return, and highly recommend this stay to others visiting the area.

Family Memories Made

Spotless comfortable home. Lake is so pretty and peaceful. Hosts have thought of everything you might need for a lake front family vacation.

Beautiful and well-maintained home with all the modern conveniences. Lake is relatively small but big enough for swimming, boating and fishing. Our group of 3 couples, one infant, and 2 single adults loved the space and the large deck overlooking the lake. There are three levels so you will get your steps in. Kayaks, pontoon boat and the paddle boat were in great shape and all were thoroughly enjoyed. The Hosts are very pleasant and and the communication was outstanding. Definitely want to come back!

This house is perfect for families of all ages. The little ones have a toy section that keeps them busy inside and a container of beach toys outside. A little older, there is an entire hutch filled with games. Yard games, paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat for water play and the fishing is great. We did not rent the pontoon boat or jet ski but they are in great condition if you decide to. Kitchen has everything you need. If you love the water, the beach is fantastic. There is not one bad thing I can say. Ali was very sweet and responsive to all my questions. We stayed over the 4th of July. The fireworks were amazing and the neighbors are very kind as well. Everything and everyone makes you feel like you are at home. The house was super clean too. If you want a place to stay for a few families of any age this house is perfect. My only suggestion is if you think of something you want to pack, ask Ali first if it is something they furnish. We could have cut our packing in half if we had known all the things they furnished. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We loved it!!!

Great Family Getaway!

We loved Stella's place for our annual family trip! It was perfect for small children... lots of toys/books, beach toys, portable crib and kids chairs. We had everything we needed... plenty of linens, comfortable beds, window AC units/fans, stocked kitchen, outside seating, life jackets, and much more! We were able to bring our own boat and dock it at the dock. The fishing was great... good sized pike, bass, and crappy. Plenty of bluegill for a fish fry! The lake was quiet and safe. Close to Ludington! We will be returning!

Great Family getaway

The property is a great place to take a walk around the lake, fish, we brought our boat and took the kids tubing, had fires at night and enjoyed family time together. We brought 15 people and at times inside the house was full. I would not stay here if you planned on spending any lengthy part of your stay inside other than to sleep and wind the day down. They did provide so many things to play with for the kids, games puzzles, cards, sand/beach toys, life jackets, SUP and canoes. My groups only complaint was that there is no central AC and only window units in 3 of the 5 sleeping rooms. It was a hot week and they were not able to keep up even at night. Overall, great property for a week of family fun!

Great place for a getaway

The house is very spacious and great for a big group. We found everything we needed and communication was great. The house was clean and updated. We loved that it had a great view and that the lake was so close. We enjoyed the fireplace and the kids loved all the kayaks and paddle boards which we were allowed to use. One of the upstair rooms doesn’t have air condition which was ok for us because it wasn’t that hot. It could be very warm in summer. But that is the only little minus we had. Overall it’s a great place to stay with very friendly neighbors. We would come back anytime.

Hosts were very responsive and supportive. We were impressed by the tasteful and cozy decorating and the overall attention to detail. Even toys for the grandkids, inside and outside! It was very relaxing to sit and look out on the lake, or around a little campfire. We enjoyed the fishing and the use of the boats. It was a great place to connect with family. Thank you!
