We had a wonderful stay at "Cape Escape" in Chatham. The host was very communicative and responsive and the home was just as advertised. We enjoyed our daily strolls to the nearby beach with our two furry babies. Would highly recommend Cape Escape to anyone that is looking to stay in Chatham.

Two families on Labor Day weekend, we had a blastAmazing location —close to local beach, bike path, icecream, pie shop.Fantastic bikes for all of us (including tandems!).And John was a fantastically communicative host.Wonderful home.

We had a wonderful stay. Our host was a wonderful communicator. Responded so quickly. They accommodated a few special requests which made our stay that much more enjoyable. The kitchen was very well stocked with whatever was needed. It was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Wewould highly recommend this place .

We had an incredible time staying in this home! The place was beautiful and the location was very convenient/ central to everything. The host was also super responsive and gave great recommendations! We will definitely be booking again in the future

This property and the host are amazing! The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and I don't think the pictures do it justice. Some things you just need to see in person. The property was super clean. The owner is extremely communicative. I loved getting all the property and location tips prior to our stay. Any questions I had were addressed immediately both prior and during our stay. Lots of amenities are included however, you are required to bring your own bedding and towels, so keep that in mind. We had issues with the hair dryers/outles in both bathrooms but the bedrooms had outlets that we could use. All in all, a superb experience with this property. I would highly recommend!

Loved our stay. The location is a perfect central point for exploring Cape Cod. Plenty of amenities in the home, bikes, beach supplies. Well equipped home and John was so helpful the entire stay.

Very comfortable and well stocked home in a great location. Loved it! Highly recommend

Everything we needed for a family trip. Lots of amenities to make for a great stay. Very attentive owners who checked in regularly to insure everything was in order and to make recommendations on activities and places to visit. Truly enjoyed our stay and will return when we return to the Cape.

Lovely home, lovely stay

House is in a quiet, pretty neighborhood which is great for walking. Forest Beach nearby—- and a great overlook also in ways walking distance where we had a great view of an active osprey nest.

I had given you 5 stars in all the categories and there seemed to have been a glitch in the VRBO system and only 4 stars appeared in a single category. I've contacted VRBO twice to explain the issue and both times they refused to fix the problem. The only suggestion they had was to remove the 4 stars all together. This really bothered my because you are such a great considerate person. Please know that you deserve a full 5 star rating and I will continue to reach out to VRBO. Their system has had several glitches in the past few months and this seems to be that latest. All the best... John

Family Vacation in Chatham.

The property was very clean and suited our needs well. The owners were very responsive to all questions and needs. It is a great location with a private beach a 5 minute walk and other beaches a short drive away. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation.

Very comfortable - great location

The house was great. Very comfortable and with everything you'd need. Super clean and the decor was a nice bonus. Location was also very convenient and we loved how quiet the street was. Highly recommend.

Lovely little home

This cute little house was perfect for our first family vacation on Cape Cod. The location was perfect and the house came equipped with everything we needed. John went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. It was immaculate and spacious, while also being comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could ask for. The neighborhood is quiet and was great for walking our dog. John was very helpful and responsive. He provided many recommendations on activities and restaurants. Chatham is a lovely village with great shops and restaurants. We loved that we could easily walk to Forest Beach. There were many bicycles in the garage to use on the nearby bike trail. Thank you, John & family for a wonderful visit. Would definitely return again.

Great location, great house

Our family of five had so much fun at cape cod. The house was in a perfect location for us to bike around, go to beach and explore other beaches around the area. The bikes and useful items that the owners left for us were amazing. We would definitely recommend this to friends or anyone looking to explore cape cod!

John’s place was great. The location is wonderful and it’s very comfortable. It comes well equipped with plenty of bikes, beach towels and toys and was great for our large family of grandparents, parents and kids. John was a great communicator and gave us an early check-in and late check out. We’d love to back and stay at John’s place Chatham again.

Absolutely beautiful property and amazing hosts to match! We stayed here two nights and hosted our micro-wedding which was the perfect location! The house is absolutely immaculate and updated with a cute nautical theme in EVERY room. Even the guests at our wedding were going to look into staying at the property in the future. John is a phenomenal host and we absolutely will be returning back one day.

Great Stay!

I booked this property over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was wonderful! John, the owner, was wonderful to work with and was able to offer flexibility with an earlier check-in and later check-out. The house interior is tastefully decorated and well-cared for, and the use of bikes on property was great, and the beach is just a short walk and we enjoyed watching the evening sunset. I highly recommend renting the property And hope to book again this summer.

We had an amazing stay in Chatham, MA.

The weather was beautiful, we could easily walk to the beach or ride one of the many provided bikes (which was great!!). The house was clean, the rooms were nice and big. Lots of room to sit quietly and read or play games with the family. John was great to work with. Overall a very relaxing vacation.

Great Value for a Great Vacation

The property is immaculately maintained, very well equipped and centrally located for any mid-Cape activity. Quiet cul de sac. Spacious but not too big. Furnishings and general vibe is fresh and nautical themed. All around a great host, house and 5 week vacation.

Cute Clean Chatham House On Quiet Street!

John’ family house was perfect for a birthday getaway long weeeked, this mostly modernized house was just the right amount of quiet but close to town, and at most a 10 min walk to a great local beach. House was well stocked and John was one of the more attentive and proactive owners I have had the pleasure of renting from having used HomeAway a bunch in the past. We will definitely consider this property again if we stay in this part of the cape👍

Attended wedding with friends

The property is in a very nice neighborhood - a quiet and private area. Walkable to the beach. It was in excellent condition and clean. The recent remodeling/updating is fantastic. Bike supply was terrific and we biked to the beach and the local rail to trail. Landlord was very communicative, generous and helpful. I highly recommend this home.
