The location and view can’t be beat. The beds were comfortable.Living room furniture could use a refresh - unit could use an overall upgrade - but if you’re looking for a clean oceanfront place to stay this will fit the bill!
Coffee on the deck - can’t beat the view!

Perfect Location

My family and some friends enjoyed our stay here! The location is unbeatable and the views are perfection. 10/10 would recommend, and we will be back.

Convenient

The location was convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. We had a great view. The lifeguard post was at our access point, which gave us much comfort.

Perfect place to stay

This place was everything we were hoping it to be. Very clean and bright and fit the needs of 5 adults. It is only a few steps to the beach and very convenient to many restaurants and shops. The view from the decks was beautiful. Would definitely go back!

Great Beach Spot

The location is hard to beat - literal steps from the beach. Could watch the sunrise without leaving bed! The interior is nice if not a little rough around the edges. Overall we had a great experience, and would stay again.

The location was amazing being located oceanfront. It was wonderful to sit on both of the decks and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the ocean. It was a beautiful thing to witness the magnificent sunrises right from the primary bedroom and lower deck. The convenience of being able to walk to restaurants, shopping and church is priceless. We would love to make this an annual family vacation. This wonderful oceanfront home in the heart of Wrightsville Beach definitely captured our hearts!

Wonderful time

We could not have asked for a more perfect home and location! Though the interior is a little outdated, (my husband and I got a giggle out of the under cabinet stereo system) the stay was all we could have hoped for! The linens were clean and the location was superb! We will definitely be back! PS - there were beach chairs available :)

Location is perfect!

Beautiful spot! The house was clean and check in was easy. The house would be 5 stars if they had more supplies. There were only a few trash bags and we ran out of toilet paper. But you can’t beat the location!

Wonderful beachfront stay at Stephens

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely 3 beds/3 bath with excellent views. Short walk to beach. Great location for shopping, eating and grocery. We enjoyed the wildlife- a bunny and lots of large dragon flies.

There was one roll of toilet paper/bathroom, 2 dishwasher pods, one roll of paper towels. Dishwasher held gray water in bottom after running a full cycle and it smelled. No dish soap in kitchen. 2 frying pans and lobster pot for cooking. Total of 7 forks and 8 spoons(primarily soup spoons), one mini-cube ice tray that wasn't filled. Filthy under beds. Warped pin-pong table in basement off garage and very musty. But, i will say it is a Great location!!!

The dishwasher concern has already been addressed by our team, and we are currently reviewing the kitchen inventory to ensure cookware, utensils, and supplies are better stocked moving forward. We would also like to note that the included starter supply package is outlined in several places throughout the listing and pre-arrival communications, as these items are intended to help guests get settled rather than fully supply the stay. We also appreciate you bringing the cleanliness concerns and basement/ping-pong table condition to our attention so we can review those items with our housekeeping and maintenance teams. Location, location, location

We truly loved our time at Wrightsville Beach. The house’s location could not be more perfect. Watching the sunrise each morning while laying in bed was bliss. Only thing I would note is the amount and steepness of the stairs. Would’ve been nice to know ahead of time for my elderly mom but she did great and enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well supplied if a tad dated in a few areas. I never rent the same place twice but I’d stay here again anytime!!!!!

Fantastic location

Very nice house with great location steps from beach access. Gorgeous views from living area and master bedroom. You can hear the waves! The kitchen is very basic (no tea kettle, only very basic utensils) and come prepared as it wasn't stocked with things like a sponge or soap. The upstairs main bedroom toilet was in need of repair and unfortunately wasn't fixed by the time we left. Overall very nice.

Beach Life

Absolutely amazing location. One minute walk to the beach. One minute walk to coffee, dining, night life etc. The unit was a bit dated. Some bugs trying to get their share. Garage area had a smell. Bring ping pong paddles and some new balls. Battleship North Carolina close by and worth a visit. Get a Shibumi for the beach on day one. About $250. Would stay again.

Great location with excellent views

The house is perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants and several stores. And the view can't be beat! All of the furniture and decor is comfortable and cozy with a beachy vibe. We loved that each bedroom had its own ensuite with the master having its own balcony. The only reason I didnt give a 5 for cleanliness is because some of the appliances and kitchen pots/pans could use an update. They worked perfectly fine but they are a little older. Otherwise, the place was spotless and we would definitively rent this house again!

For old ladies , a lot of stairs!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was fairly clean. We had trouble with all the faucets- they were a mystery. We never took showers - either there was no water coming out or the tub/shower we iffy looking. The beds were clean and comfortable(loved the way the sheets and towels came). We enjoyed the decks!!!

We had a bunch of teenagers with us, and they loved that they could walk to get hot dogs and ice cream. We could Wally to go out to eat. And of course, it was oceanfront. There was a ping pong table in the basement, and parking was right there at the ocean. The house itself was nice and cozy. Nothing super fancy, but we didn’t want or need it be. It was perfect for us.

You definitely have the right attitude, it doesn't have to be the most fancy house as its all about the beach, day activities, and the memories you make. We're so happy you found it nice and cozy and were able to soak in those oceanfront views! The unit is just a few strides from the heart of downtown Wrightsville with all kinds of shops, restaurants, and bars. Glad the family had a great time. You are always welcome back, keep us in mind when you plan your next trip to the island!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If want a beautiful view and great location this is the place to rent!! However, this place needs A LOT of TLC. The beds are uncomfortable, the carpeting on the stairs is very dirty and there is NO outdoor shower!!! The indoor furniture is very old and stained as well. I will say that the kitchen is well equipped and clean. Bathrooms were clean also. I would not recommend this to families who have are germaphobes.

Sharon, We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the location and view this property offers. Our housekeeping staff is aware of the stained carpet in the stairwell and has scheduled a cleaning to address the situation. Unfortunately, we have a very limited amount of time between guest departures and the incoming arrivals which prevents carpet cleaning between tenants. Please understand that after a long summer of back to back rentals many times this type of deep clean is necessary. However, we are happy to report that he owner of this property has replaced the sofa in the unit! We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your experience and are happy to hear the kitchen was well equipped and the other facilities were in good condition. We look forward to seeing you and your family again next summer.

Several kitchen items in poor condition or unavailable. Examples: Stove had burner not working, Carpet in need of updating, TVs not connected in one bedroom, Paint, etc.

Thank you for your feedback from your stay at the Stephens property, Linda! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the oceanfront location and all the new seating on the decks! Every bedroom has a bathroom and TV so everyone can spread out a bit. I do not see any service order requests from your reservation, but do know our maintenance is on call 24/7 should any issues arise like the stove burner not working. We haven't had any reports from the last several guests since your stay but will have maintenance check to be sure. We appreciate all your feedback and will pass it along to the property owner for review to encourage improvements. We hope you will return to the property in the future - that view and proximity to the beach is definitely enticing!

The property is very convenient to the town of Wrightsville, grocery, restaurants, bars and beach access just outside the back deck. We didn’t have a car the whole trip, only bicycles, and it worked out great. The property shows some signs of wear & tear but we were expecting that from previous reviews that we saw before reserving the place. Highly recommended if you want convenience, great access to the beach & wonderful views. We saw full moons, lightning, sunrises, and even a rainbow over the ocean. Bryant was great and really proactive to make sure all was good. We Would go back & stay here again.
