Living in MidCity, in this safe neighborhood, is the best area to explore LA. It's a quiet neighborhood far from heavy traffic on the large boulevards. There is a high school across the way so you will see students coming and going and hear the occasional bell.
Close to the 10 Freeway, renters can quickly get to the beach or downtown and beyond Pasadena to explore the San Gabriels. Fairfax, Miracle Mile, Beverly Hills, Larchmont, KTown, West Adams, Hollywood and Downtown are all within a 15 min drive. There is also lots of public transportation on nearby street arteries, including the Purple/D Line Metro on Wilshire. Ubers/Lyfts galore.
There are major grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants and big box stores within a 10-20 min walk.
