Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Axtell's location can't be beaten when looking for closest to the slopes. This is a three-story unit with an entrance located on the third floor. So there are quite a few stairs, but the condo lives very comfortably. We'd be happy to host your next trip to Crested Butte!

There are quite a few stairs, so future renters, please be aware. We include our check-in instructions in our rental agreement that is signed prior to arrival. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The location is indeed quite nice, right at the base of the Silver Queen Lift. It can be a chore to move luggage to and from the unit, but like you said, once settled there's lots of room for everyone to spread out. We are awaiting parts for repair of the specialty sauna and so please do not consider this as an amenity when booking for the time being. We'll assess some of your other suggestions where we might be able to improve the kitchen inventory. We appreciate your feedback very much and hope that you'll visit us again!
