Panoramic Views Inside and Out!
Great rate for an entire house! Gorgeous views from this home located in the Village of Oak Creek in Sedona. Our visitors love the Village of Oak Creek because there is a less traffic than West Sedona while still offering a great variety of restaurants, hiking trails and shopping. The home is just minutes from Red Rock Crossing. This home is secluded on a dead end street and backs to forest land for the ultimate in privacy and quiet. The home features 2200SF, three bedrooms, two baths, fireplace, washer & dryer. The cook will love the fully-equipped kitchen with top-of-the-line stainless steel Maytag appliances including a double oven gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with water and ice in the door, plus a natural gas BBQ grill. The master suite has a king bed, tiled shower, walk-in closet and fabulous red rock views. Two secondary bedrooms have 1 queen bed and 1 king bed with upgraded mattresses. The home includes wireless, high-speed internet access and WIFI enabled TVs. The garage has an opener and is oversized - an SUV should fit inside. There is a 220 outlet for the visitors with electric cars. There is ample parking on the circular driveway.
Come Stay, Play, Relax and Refresh your spirit at one of the most beautiful communities in the West! Enjoy spectacular views from the living area, kitchen and deck of two of the most famous red rock formations in Sedona - Castle Rock and Cathedral Rock (which has a vortex). The home is just a few minutes from Red Rock Crossing. The crossing is one of the most photographed spots in Arizona. This home is away from the bright lights of West Sedona and is under 'dark sky' regulations. Here in the village you just look up to see the Milky Way spread across the sky at night. It is so dark you can see the planets, satellites and the space station. Bring your telescope and you can see more from the deck.
The home is just minutes from over 50 miles of hiking trails. The highways, hiking trails and state parks offer breathtaking sights and ample opportunity to commune with nature. Red Rock State Park features an environmental information center as well as wonderful locations for hiking, biking, birding and fishing. Shaded by cottonwoods and sycamores along the canyon walls Slide Rock State Park has a natural water slide while the less athletic can relax at picnic tables in the meadow.
If you are a golfer then check out the Robert Trent Jones championship public golf course in the Village of Oak Creek that is just 1.5 miles away. A nine hole executive course is located a few miles away at Canyon Mesa.
Sedona is 4500 ft above sea level providing a moderate and dry climate closely matching most of Southern California only without the humidity. Sedona offers the best of all worlds all year long: Gourmet Dining, Art Galleries, Fine Boutiques, Music and Theater. The beautiful surroundings and laid-back atmosphere have drawn artists to the area in droves. Indoor types will find plenty to do touring galleries, including the Sedona Arts Center, which showcases world-class exhibits and local artists.
Those interested in ancient ruins and anthropology will be awestruck by the area's natural rock formations and preserved remains of old cultures. Visitors can hike past the ruins of the Sinagua Indian on the Boynton Canyon Trail or check out the unique geological deposits at Rachel's Knoll. The Grand Canyon is just a few hours away. In the winter skiing and snow play is available 45 miles up the I-17 freeway to Snow Bowl at Flagstaff.
The natural beauty and peace that comes with a visit to Sedona make it a worthwhile journey for any traveler.

If you are looking for a great vacation home with gorgeous views of the Red Rocks this is the place for you. The home is secluded on a cul de sac lot that backs to Forest Land. There is a constant parade of wildlife including deer and quail. A big plus is the views are great from both inside and out so you can enjoy them in any type of weather. Inside there are very comfortable chairs, couches and beds. The home is well equipped including ice chests. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a small meal or a big feast. The gas grill is great. There is a very nice grocery store and several great restaurants a couple miles away. Pat and Victor have done great job of making this a truly enjoyable vacation home. We wish all vacation rentals were all this nice.
Larry and Jill L - July 2020
We were skeptical the terrific views in the VRBO pictures were accurate. We drove up prior to our stay to confirm. The house was rented. Andy and Amy were nice enough to let us look around. They said they liked the home so much they had extended their stay for a second month. The pictures did not lie. In fact they do not do the view justice. We, and our guests, were amazed and fell in love with the incredible red rock views from inside and out. Even the secondary bedroom is great as it overlooks a bird feeder which attracts the quail. We saw baby quail almost every day. The deer visited often. It is difficult to find vacation rentals that allow pets. We were fortunate Victor and Pat do so we were able to take our dog. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be able to do it again in the near future.

A lot of the property descriptions say they have great views of the Red Rocks but this home actually does. Built up into the rocks you can see Thunder Mountain, Cathedral Rock and Castle Rock from inside and outside. This is a big plus so you can enjoy the view in any type of weather. The location is super quiet as it is on a cul de sac lot that backs to Forest Land. The owners planted apple trees so deer come by often. There are bird feeders for the hummingbirds, quail, cardinals and doves. All the furniture is very comfortable and the mattresses are high quality. The home is well equipped with a gas grill, fully stocked kitchen, including a crock pot, and tons of dishes. It seems like you are way out in the country but there is a great grocery store and restaurants just a few minutes away. We wish all vacation homes lived up to their descriptions and were this well maintained.
COVID-19 cleaning - all linens, bed spreads and bath mats washed. All hard surfaces cleaned with Clorox cleaner or vinegar and water. Typically there are 2 days or more between rentals.

Preguntas frecuentes
Acerca del anfitrión
Anfitrión: Pat
Pat is a real estate broker in Phoenix and Sedona. Victor is a software programmer. We enjoy wild life and landscape photography, hiking and star gazing. We have lived in the greater Phoenix area for 20 plus years and have always loved Sedona. We were able to make our dream of having a Sedona home a reality a few years ago.
Por qué eligió esta propiedad
We purchased this home to use as a weekend get away and future retirement home. We were looking for somewhere unique and beautiful yet close enough to Phoenix to be an easy commute so we could visit often. We looked at 100 houses or more before buying this one. The goal was to have a home with a view from inside and outside of the gorgeous red rocks. We were also looking for a quiet area so the dead end street against forest service land was ideal. Lastly we wanted enough parking for our recreational vehicles.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The main advantage of living in the Village of Oak Creek versus west Sedona is less traffic. Holiday and summer weekends are very busy in west Sedona. We have all the conveniences of west Sedona including a large grocery store, many restaurants, fitness centers, library, spas, hotels and shopping without the hassle of the traffic.
