Beautiful and quaint farmhouse! Amazing views, secluded, country feel. Debra was very thoughtful about providing pet items and treats and coffee for the guests. I would love to stay there again. Pictures don’t do it justice

I cannot say enough about this property. The views were spectacular and the house was clean and cozy. I was amazed how cool the house stayed with how hot it was outside. Our dog loved the paths and grass as far as the eye could see.The property offered all the amenities we needed and more. We recommend this property and host 110%

Our stay at this home was wonderful! From the listing photos, I knew the property was pretty, but it was even more beautiful in real life. We loved the rolling hills, gorgeous trees, the many bird feeders and butterfly wildflower garden. Our kids loved the campfire pit and running around the yard catching lightning bugs in the evenings. The house was clean, and check in was was easy. The hosts communicated everything we needed to know a few days before our stay, so check in was a breeze. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, cooking spices, pots and pans, shampoo/conditioner, etc. There were even comfy white hotel robes and slippers provided! The location was great too- a short drive to Mammoth Cave National Park and the surrounding attractions. I would definitely recommend this home as a place to stay when visiting Kentucky.

We loved our stay! Beautiful property, with plenty of space for our kids and dogs. Clean, cozy home. Very close to the Mammoth Caves and just over an hour drive from Louisville.

We loved spending Thanksgiving with our family at this beautiful and cozy farmhouse! We enjoyed walking the property and playing in the yard with our dog! Easy drive to the caves and hiking trails!

This is a beautiful, well maintained property, exactly as listed and pictured. We loved the countryside, enjoyed a campfire one night, and we enjoyed walking around the property with a horse on the other side of the fence. The distance to Mammoth Cave National Park was an easy drive, so it was an ideal spot to spend our spring break. As northerners, we LOVED the weather too! Our neighbors were jealous of the 70-80 degree weather we had while they had freezing rain. Thanks for the great accommodations!

We enjoyed our stay at he house1 Everything was clean and well taken care of. We found everything we needed to cook our meals. We especially enjoyed all of the beautiful wild flowers around the property.

Perfect stay accommodating 5 adults during our stay. 20-30 minutes from Caves ,Kentucky down under zoo,Hidden river cave and Stonehenge. Lovely open fields surrounded property with lots of birds,Turkey and Deer.

Peaceful Getaway

Relaxing Getaway

Fully equipped home. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing area. Beautiful views. Exactly what i needed to clear my mind and relax.

House was very nice with comfortable beds, large open layout, great outdoor space with fire pit and rows of flowers (and soon to be native plants!) Great location near mammoth cave and other smaller caves. About an hour from Louisville as well. The hosts saw that we had 5 guests and went out of their way to set up an extra bed complete with a stuffed animal that we all loved! Overall we had a great stay!

The farm has been in my family since the 1840’s. My parents built the current house in the early 1960’s. When I was growing up, my parents raised a large garden, tobacco, corn, cattle and other livestock. Now the farm is leased to a farmer who raises hay.

My goal is to preserve the heritage of our early Kentucky settlers and the small family farm experience which I grew up with. Mark and I love sharing the beauty of the rolling hills and wildlife in a natural environment.

The view from the house is spectacular with rolling hills and woodlands, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, with wildlife including birds, deer, squirrels and turkeys.

The house has been updated with modern conveniences while preserving the rustic Kentucky hill country feel. You may enjoy the charming clip-clop of my Amish neighbors as they pass in their buggies as well as viewing programming from a large Smart TV. The property is close to many attractions, yet far enough from town that you will not be bothered by traffic and light pollution.
