The Squatch Lodge

About this space
Soothe your inner Squatch. The Squatch Lodge is the original Squatch Property and the home of Carl, the mascot Bigfoot. This log cabin has everything you need to have as much rambunctious or relaxing fun as you want. Our cabin is located at beautiful Nolin Lake! The property has a seasonal water view. Access to the water is located at our neighborhood Nolin Estates boat ramp.

You've probably heard, there are a few things that the Squatch Lodge is famous for. The first is the amount of snacks and goodies we spoil the guests with. The second is the extremely fun yet tasteful sasquatch decor. . Enjoy hiking, boating, fishing, cave exploration and many other attractions near by.

We chose the Squatch Lodge because of it's proximity to everything we wanted to do. It was right in the middle of it all. It was clean, stocked with everything you'll need and check-in and check-out was a breeze.

It was a great place for our family! Close enough to the caves and other tourists attractions, and far enough out to enjoy everything else too. A great base camp for family fun.

This was a great stop for our family. The kids loved the Sasquatch themed cabin and game room. It was a beautiful scenic drive to Mammoth Cave National Park from the cabin, which was our main reason for traveling to the area.

The cabin is wonderful. The road into the community is a bit rough so if your towing anything it will rough. Dry county so make sure to bring any adult beverages with you. The basement is great to entertain and comfy beds. Only wish was a path to the fire pit for easier access. Thanks!

Amazing stay!!!! We loved every minute of it. It’s such a perfect house to relax. The kitchen was well equipped. The natural lighting in the house is pure perfection. The bedrooms were very comfy and the basement was perfect for the birthday dinner we threw for our mom. We cannot wait to go back!

Great property with everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the activities downstairs and the kitchen is large with lots of needed items. Deck was peaceful to sit and enjoy the wildlife.

Great stay!

We stayed here for two night and went to Mammoth Cave and Kentucky Downunder. It is a wondeful place for my dog and my family. We will come again if we can.

Great Vacation!!

Beautiful views, very spacious, amazing amenities and spotlessly clean. Snacks were provided, comfortable sleeping for everyone to enjoy and an amazing trip overall. Host was very accesible and property was immaculate, we will return!

The house was perfect and very cozy. The beds were comfortable. We loved the games, movies, and snacks. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked. It’s obvious that the owners pay close attention to details and to the comfort of their guests.

Probably the best stocked and equipped house I have rented. Several games, TV in each room and kitchen fully stocked. Quiet location. Not too far from restaurants and small grocery stores.

Loved Squatch Lodge

Perfect for a weekend getaway. The beds we comfy and the kitchen was great. The fire pit was stocked and we really enjoyed relaxing around the fire. The lodge was clean and inviting. Loved all the snacks!

Great family property

We had a great time at the Squatch lodge. The facilities were clean and had plenty of space for a family to spread out. The basement was great for kids with some games and indoor options. It was close to Mammoth Cave National Park and made our visits very easy.

Great Cabin

My entire family loved the Squatch Lodge. The gameroom was a huge hit with my teenage boys. There was plenty of room and the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were wonderful!

Perfect Respite

We were in town for a funeral and the squatch lodge was so clean, lovely, and peaceful. Plenty of extras providing for a superb experience. We’ll definitely be back in the future!
