We had a lovely time in this home! Place was as advertised. We enjoyed crabbing and some fishing! Also enjoyed the fire pit a few afternoons! Even though the Nor’easter came through we survived and when I reached out to owner about flashlights in case we lose power we had flashlights delivered that same night. Communication w/owner was great! I highly recommend! Also keeping this place in mind for next year’s vacation!

The host had excellent communication both before and during our stay. The house had a great layout for our two families, loved that we were on the lagoon and a short drive to the beaches! The house also had pretty much everything we needed for our stay such as beach chairs and umbrellas, board games, linens, towels (bath and beach), etc;. The only thing we didn’t love was carpets in the rooms, especially with being pet friendly, every so often we got a hint of dog. Otherwise we had a great stay and enjoyed the house :)

Everything was perfect - the area is quiet for relaxing but so close to island for fun - I recommend 100%

It was a great place to have our senior dog, Ellie, with us. The yard is totally fenced so she could safely explore outdoors. There are lots of amenities and outdoor equipment available for summer fun! Unfortunately, our stay was in winter, but the house was warm and cozy. Perfect place for our Christmas celebration!

Absolutely Wonderful Fall Getaway

The house is wonderful. Very clean and very very family friendly. The backyard was perfect to just relax and have cup of coffee in the AM! Lots of places local to grab something quick and a quick drive over the bridge to the beaches!

Relaxing

Our stay was short but very relaxing, loved 1st flr open area allowed to stay together but not on-top of each other. Beautiful waterfront setting unfortunately due to the weather at the time we could not take full advantage of using the area. The location is close to the main road, very easy to get in and out as needed. We found both the interior and exterior clean and well maintained + well stocked with needed essentials. The Host was very easy to get in touch with for any concerns or needs. We look forward to future bookings.

Perfect for families!

This is such a cute property that has all the things you need for a vacation rental. The backyard is completely fenced in, so the kids and dog could run around and play without us worrying about them falling in the water. The dock had crab traps available, but we also brought our own fishing gear to fish off the dock. The house was very spacious and filled with all the comforts of home. The one bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs were plenty for the 6 adults, 3 kids, and a dog. One full bathroom was downstairs while the other full bathroom was upstairs. The downstairs area was great for all of us to be hanging out while we were making meals or relaxing after the beach. The trip to the LBI is super quick and easy from this location. The host was also very responsive and easy to contact. Definitely a great place to stay. We loved it so much that we already booked again for next year!

The location was great. When we walked up to the front door to enter the storm door handle was on the ground and had to put back together to get into door. We should have turned around and left the property as soon as wee walked. In the place. The whole house reeked of dog urine and musty it was not clean. Stains on carpets upstairs. The electric baseboards were disgustingly filthy and filled with hair. It took several hours with the windows open with a breeze for the smell t9 somewhat go away. One air conditioner upstairs was plugged into an extension cord!! Highly dangerous. Half of the table lamps had no knobs on them, so you couldn’t turn on a lamp. The couches were filthy, put towels down to sit on. I would not recommend staying here. Also, she filed a false claim with the insurance company saying we damaged the TV and that is completely false. We were at my sons wedding all weekend, not watching tv.

The house is in a great location, but unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the property were very disappointing.The bathrooms were moldy, and the stair banister was disgustingly filthy. The carpet throughout the house was also very dirty, and underneath the sofa clearly had not been vacuumed in what looked like a very long time. The living room furniture is extremely old and appears to be falling apart.On the positive side, the washer and dryer, dining room table, and living room TV were all great and appreciated.The dock is also quite old and has many splinters, so you need to wear shoes when using it.Unfortunately, we also had an uncomfortable experience with the neighbors. We felt that we were harassed during our stay, and the neighbors were rude toward us. They also appeared to have a camera positioned in their window that was pointed toward the property and seemed to monitor our coming and going, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.Overall, while the location is excellent, the cleanliness, condition of the house, and experience with the neighbors made our stay very disappointing.
