One of the best properties on the beach! I loved fishing in the canal just steps away from the home! My family love the beach access and the host was gracious enough to let my dog come along for the ride. Plenty of beach and fishing gear means no need to pack those things and the beach cruiser bikes and skateboards really topped things off. Gerat place, great host, great time had by all...

The house had plenty of space for six teenagers and four adults. The basement/garage room was perfect for the boys. It was nice to wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water, and the paddle board and kayak were fun to use. It was a quick walk to the beach and a cute little coffee stand. There were plenty of places to walk dogs, but keep in mind dogs are not allowed on the beach, ocean or bay side. The closest dog beach is a twenty minute drive, and it's tiny. Overall our stay was great! The home was clean and spacious. We didn't want to leave!

The house is beautiful! So many rooms, windows, balconies, places to sit and relax! The Rapunzel window over the kitchen was such fun for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped. The games downstairs were great. Love the bathrooms! Fishing off the dock multiple times a day and night on a whim was such a treat. Host was very responsive, but literally we needed nothing.

The location was wonderful. The house was very pretty. We loved the decks and view of the canal. The patio furniture definitely needed some attention. One of the back legs of one of the rocking chairs was broken off. I almost fell backward when I sat in it, not realizing the back part of one of the legs was completely broken off. The wooden swing on the bottom level had large, rusty screws sticking out, right where the back of your knee hits. Lucky we saw it before any of the little kids sat on it. Those nails would have punctured and/or made a nasty cut. The upstairs bedroom with 2 twin beds was unbearable warm making it uncomfortable for sleep. A few of the bike tires were flat/rotten. The kitchen could have been stocked a little better. I’ve taken my family of 10 adults and 3-4 kids to Navarre for 4 years in a row now. This property was the most expensive of any of the similar houses we’ve rented. With a few fixes, I could give it a 5 star vs 4 star rating.

Weekend Golf and Fishing Trip

This was a weekend golf and fishing trip for me and some of my sales reps. The owner was very quick to respond and even checked in to make sure everything was ok with the rental. The location was awesome and the house was perfect. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Navarre area.

Wonderful and Quiet stay for our large family

Everything. I mean everything was wonderful!!!! Only 1 downside….We either didn't know how to turn on sauna or it wasn't working. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large family, especially a bunch of teenagers. Great separation between adults and kids. Everything was so close. We truly enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back!

Before Booking - Confirm if home is still under construction!

The stay was disappointing due to ongoing construction issues and the chaos that followed. Repairs were not mentioned in the initial listing of the house and details were only shared after booking. Repairs were stated for Oct, not the last wk of Nov during the stay. When notified by the host the wk before arrival that repairs were still underway, at that point it was too late to cancel for a full refund. Photos sent by the host showed minor repair but the reality was totally different when workers were actually working. On the 1st morning, loud construction began at 7am and a water line break caused a water outage. Although the host apologized, offered free golf cart use and sent treats no discount was provided despite the inconveniences.The property had addt'l issues: a leaking downstairs tub rendered a bathroom unusable for bathing and an extra living/game area was actually a damp, smelly garage room. The backyard patio was inaccessible due to caution tape. A rat was seen on the upper patio one evening, raising concerns. The bedroom and bathroom layout was inconvenient with no private bathroom - each room shares a bathroom, except the garage room.The overall annoyance from construction, combined with the numerous inconveniences made the stay frustrating. While efforts were made to enjoy the trip, the property was not as advertised and should not have been listed for rental during repairs. This experience left us feeling slighted and would not book this property again.
