Enjoy a unique and tranquil getaway at our Farmhouse. Watch the sunrise from the deck, overlooking our lake with a cup of coffee and the sunset from our porch rockers. Fill your days on our lake property, swimming, fishing, or picnicking on the beach. Skiing is also an option along with hiking or biking at one of the beautiful park districts in the area. Our Farmhouse located in the heart of Amish country where you can enjoy several Amish restaurants and handcrafted goods. And in the spring, take a walk through our woods and watch the production of maple syrup on our farm.

This is a wonderful, quaint farmhouse with a nice view of a winding road that ends at a small lake. We enjoyed walks to and around the lake as well as sitting on the front porch watching occasional Amish buggies drive by.

Clean, beautiful property. Quaint farmhouse on a busy road. The pond is set a little farm back but there is a road to drive down to get there. Near shops and restaurants. Also set in a location that it is very easy to get to.

We loved having Jessica and her friends stay at our farmhouse. They enjoyed the lake and property. They left painted rocks in our flower bed as a reminder of their stay with us. It brought smiles to our faces when we saw them.

Place was very nice, lots to explore around, and lots of fish in their lake. Perfect for couples, and families.

Pros; the lodge was fantastic for a family reunion The lake was wonderful the kids loved the boats, dock and driving board.House was clean and downstairs was very comfortable.Porta potty was extra clean and not bad to use at the lodge. Ruthie responded quickly and was very accommodating as I did not know all guest using the lodge had to be approved and I didn’t ask until the night before.Cons: two bedrooms are upstairs The air conditioner was off so it was 80 degrees in the house when we got there took 5 hours to cool down to 75.No extra garbage bags or KleenexNo bathroom supplies both of these are not deal breakers just an FYI as frequent VRBO users we are use to having them supplied.

The house was very clean. Mostly remodeled on the inside. We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed our 3 night stay. Bed in master was very comfortable. The rental has everything you need and the host was easy to work with.

Super cute farmhouse in a great location.

This property is not only beautiful on the outside, but so cute and comfortable inside. We loved the extra touches of Christmas that were added for the holidays, as well. Ruthie is a wonderful host, answering our questions almost immediately. We loved our stay and look forward to our next visit.

Memory Lake is absolutely perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed this property and only wish we had stayed longer. It was the cleanest property we have ever stayed at and it has been renovated so nicely. Having the lake to ourselves was the icing on the cake. We all enjoyed the paddle boat, row boat, kayaks, diving board, zip line, and fishing. We would definitely stay here again during future trips to Burton.

This is a very lovely property; the farmhouse was very cozy and comfy. Decorated in very relaxing pale shares of color. The master bed was very soft and we slept well. The property is very well kept, very tidy. I took a walk to the Memory Lake which was very pretty, pristine and well maintained. The host was very responsive to all questions and very quick in her answers. We visit this area annually. This is a lovely getaway.

Family trip

Nice house near our family in Middlefield. Very clean. Nicely furnished and decorated. Had a few issues with drainstopper in bathtub not working so unable to run bath for the small children; coffee maker was not working. I must have overlooked any mention of the two bedrooms being upstairs, so that was a challenge with two small children. Overall, very pleasant stay.

Our property was once a large potato farm with over 200 acres and has been family owned since the early 1900’s. This Farmhouse is where my husband’s aunt was married and lived and later, where my husband grew up. The family still makes maple syrup on the farm.

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and Burton is full of history with a historic village for touring. Within a few miles our neighboring community, Middlefield, is known for being the center of the world's fourth largest Amish settlement.

Our Farmhouse is very clean with and private. We also have a lake with a beach, a lodge with a large fireplace, and a pavilion with a picnic area.
