What a great home….

My very 1st VRBO experience, and I was blown away with the amazing home, all the amenities…..Welcome basket….Everything was perfect. Great communication from start to finish. Would definitely stay again

We really enjoyed staying in this home. It was tastefully decorated and very cozy. The host was very responsive. We appreciated the surprise gift the host provided!

Not as cozy as expected

Lots of cute touches, including snacks and even wine. Mostly clean except for dirty walls and windows. The den area where the TV is was just too cold to use despite turning the heat up. This was true of the front bedrooms as well. The sitting area with fireplace was very nice, just not as cozy as we'd hoped but still nice. Did not realize there was no dishwasher and that we'd have to wash all dishes before leaving. The porch was great and you definitely feel as though you're in the woods, but the hot tub and sitting area were around a corner on the side of the house which was not expected. It's hard to get bearings from photos. So you have to walk over gravel and further than you'd expect to get to it. The porch sitting area was nice, but inconveniently far from the kitchen so it didn't make sense to bring food out and enjoy it much. Not enough coffee was provided and doors and windows were difficult to open, close, and lock. Front door lock is very finicky and code is very long. Sliding doors didn't all have bars. Bathrooms look super cute but the tub was rocking and felt unstable. Just not as luxurious as it appears and the spaces were very separated. Still, it was mostly very clean and cute. Be aware that late check out costs 25/hour, starting 15 min past checkout time which is early (10am).

Heaven in the woods!

From the moment we entered Timbered Tranquility, we felt relaxed and peaceful. Karyne thought of everything! She welcome us with snacks, a bottle of wine, bucket of s'mores ingredients, slippers in every bedroom, even dog treats and toys! Our entire family, including our pup, was able to chill in this heavenly paradise. Our dog didn't bark ALL weekend, which is a miracle, because in our crowded neighborhood, she is constantly on alert. She made herself at home in the dog bed and enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out into the gorgeous woods. An overnight snowfall added to the beauty of this home. We had a great time making s'mores at the fire pit and spending time in the hot tub each night. The interior decor was gorgeous! Soothing, zen, just perfect. Fully stocked kitchen and linens made packing much lighter. Cannot wait to return to this gem!!!
