Lovely, quiet, clean, cozy, beautiful stay! Everything you need for a relaxing weekend. The host was great at communication and provided us everything we needed for an easy check in and check out. Would definitely love to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and it was an excellent weekend getaway! Close to nearby hiking and charming Elkins. We enjoyed watching the stars in the hot tub.

Absolutely beautiful house in a phenomenal location! Patti, the hostess, was great to work with from start to finish. Everything in the house worked exactly as it should, and the home was extremely comfortable.We did some fly fishing while we were there, although unfortunately the fish weren’t biting. The fire pit was a great hit and a perfect way to relax in the evenings. The location is close enough to Elkins to make it convenient, yet far enough away to truly feel like you’re getting away from it all.Having coffee in the morning while looking out over the river was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. If you stay here, I definitely recommend trying to take the train to High Mountain Falls. The train actually passes right by the house, which makes it a really neat experience.We will definitely be looking at staying here again. Thanks, Patti, for a great stay!— Derek

Beautiful home! We enjoyed the hot tub. Would love to visit again to play in the water that is just steps from the back door. Wonderful backyard! Patti was very responsive.

We had a great weekend getaway!! Quiet and peaceful! Weather was cold, which no one can control of course, but we were able to use the fireplace. There was wood available and you could buy fire starters if you need. Very clean, could maybe use a little updating, but it is over all a great place to stay. You are close to others, however it was very quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The place and location were great! Well stocked and fun for the kids. Fishing was awesome! Would like to come back in warmer weather too.

Top notch location on Cheat River

Great view and steps away from river. Nice amenities including a propane grill and hot tub which both got great use!

Easy river access

We were all pleased with our stay! Great hot tub, lots of outdoor space with a nice firepit, wonderful river access great for tubing and relaxing. The house had plenty of room for everyone with lots of table space to play games. Took away a star because the patio area and furniture could use a good washing but all 5 of us would recommend staying here!

The place was everything and then some. We have stayed at several places over the last 12 years and this was the best place for sure. We will hopefully be renting again for fall trip and next year spring trip

Perfect location to unwind and reset.

The Riverstar is such a beautiful home and property. The house and grounds are well maintained and very clean. The property owner is very polite and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Great property. Kitchen was very well apportioned - plenty of plates/bowls/cups, as well as pots/pans. The weather was fantastic - the only time spent inside was when we were sleeping. Backyard deck, hot tub, firepit, and view were terrific. We'll be back...........
