Trout fish in your front yard while your wife enjoys the hot tub on the deck. This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or a weekend fishing trip. Cookout on the deck with the propane grill or dine out in one of the nearby restaurants. The cabin has an efficiency kitchen and a futon couch for young children. Cabin is located across the river from the Monongahela National Forest where thousands of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails await you. Canoeing, fishing, hiking, mountain bike riding. It's all here, all that's missing is you.

Perfect romantic getaway

Erik was a wonderful host, and Boo his dog is such a cutie! Check in was super easy and the cabin was clean and ready for us. West Va had been hit with a lot of snow, but that didn’t stop us from having a beautiful time! The hot tub was perfect for warming up! A lil birdie told me it’s fun to go from the hot to to making snow angels in the snow . We had all the amenities and housewares we needed to make our 3 day trip great. The shower was really satisfying too! Bring some hand soap and paper products - otherwise you’re all set! If you go - check out Blackwater Falls! Thanks again Erik! We hope to be back in warmer weather.

Perfect Weekend Stay!

The atmosphere of the cabin was just what we were looking for; relaxing and homey. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hot tub was perfect! It was exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

The Stay at a River Side Cabin

Our overall experience at the cabin is great. Erik is terrific when it comes to communication and being helpful. You have tons of privacy and your own private river. I'd probably live there. My only recommendation is that the mattress be updated cause my old body didn't sleep very well. But the hot relaxing hot tub on the porch helped out. I would definitely stay here again and next time it would be the summer.

Perfect weekend getaway

We spent a weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. Erik was very helpful and a super nice host. We loved the fire pit by the river, and the hot tub was absolutely amazing to relax. The cabin was super cozy, comfy and clean. Our dog Ava who came with us, loved the area and enjoyed sunbathing by the river. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fun Time

Erik was very hospitable during our stay. He answered our questions in a timely manner and had a backup key to help us back into the cabin after we locked ourselves out. The foosball coffee table was a great surprise to walk into, we really enjoyed our time!

Quiet getaway. Loved the hot tub. We floated around on tubes in the river. Small bar and grill in walking distance.

The host Erik was great, and he was there if we needed! We loved the cabin and everything that went with it. It was the cleanest and most peaceful place that we have rented. We will be back as long as he will have us!

A great place to stay!

This cabin was clean, quiet, plenty of local information inside. It was right next to the river, food was close by and owner was very nice. Would recommend to anyone.

Relaxing and Peaceful

Our host Erik was very hospitable and made us feel like we were family. The location was very relaxing, peaceful, and quiet. Reprieve from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We really enjoyed the hot tub and swimming in the river. The river was not very deep, you could see the bottom, perfect for fly fishing and wading. The cabin was simple and rustic, just what we were looking for! There is also a place to play horseshoe, a picnic area, and a hammock.

Great time

Erick was as friendly and helpful as could be. House was clean. Beautiful covered patio. Floating down the river right by the property was our favorite! Go to whiskey river grille, it’s a 5 minute walk away. 10/10!!!
