Felt like home
This home is in the perfect location for touring the East side of Puerto Rico. It’s on the top of a small mountain, so you get the rain forest feel, but it’s still close enough to where you can make it to a store in under ten minutes. Surrounded by lush trees, banana, mango, star fruit and more on the property and the sound of coqui at night was so serene. Even the thunderstorms were lovely. You can see the ocean from the balcony through a clearing in the forest, which was so cool.
The care takers are a sweet elderly couple who were so helpful and kind. Everything is clean and new and if you need to be cooking for your family, the kitchen is fully equipped.
We left after 5 nights to go to the west side of the island, and it wasn’t a great experience so we left and came back here for another 3 nights, that’s how comfortable we were and it felt like home.
The WiFi is spotty and had a hard time getting it, but it didn’t bother us too much since we were on vacation to enjoy nature and we could use our hotspots on our phones if needed.
Safe, quiet location with electronic gate. Perfect for families. Definitely recommend and would visit again. Thanks for everything Teressa!
