The photos are not up to date, there is a photo of a deck about half way down the stairs that was not currently there. Must be able to do stairs, 67 stairs from the house to the water, more than my arthritis could do.The house was wonderful, clean and spacious . The refrigerator could use some updating. Some parts of it were taped to stay in place. More pans would be nice.It’s really nice having the washer and dryer which were quite large.Most everyone had a wonderful time but as stated I was not able to do the stairs and therefore could not access the water.

This home was great. It had everything our large group needed and was as advertised. The owner was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

The View is beautiful, large deck to enjoy the views. Home is very neat and clean, everything you need for nice get away with plenty of room.

Wedding Weekend

Our daughter’s wedding was at Salem Cross Inn. We couldn’t have picked a better location to gather before and after our celebration. Clean, quiet and a beautiful relaxing setting on the lake. (We also rented the house across the street for additional family members…a real plus)

Nice Weekend Getaway

Enjoyed this spacious house that easily accommodated our family for my mother's 80th birthday weekend. We were able to cook for everyone, sleep everyone comfortably, and loved hanging out on the deck. Recommend this to families looking to spend some quality time together.

Old friend reunion

Had an excellent stay at this property with a small group of old friends over 40. Nice, relaxing views from the porches and we enjoyed the private dock. Would return for sure.

Spacious, well-equipped, well-maintained, beautiful view of the lake, idyllic setting, comfortable. Only downside is the short, steep driveway and smallish parking lot. Latter was a problem only because I had a large pickup truck.

Beautiful view

We stayed two nights for our sons near by wedding. Although we didn’t have a lot of time to spend at the house, it would be a perfect place to just escape from our busy lives and just relax. The house supplied everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Family weekend

We found the place "as advertised" and had a great time. We brought a small boat - had no problems getting access to the lake - and enjoyed having access to the lake from the property. We spent the majority of the time hanging out on the deck and the dock! All the accommodations were in good order and as shown.

Homey, Clean and Comfy!

Myself and 3 friends came to shop the Brimfield Flea Markets. We loved coming home each night to the lake house and it's gorgeous views. The home could use some decor updates, but that sort of added to the homey charm. Very Clean!! Would stay again.

Excellent!!!

This was the second time we stayed here and loved everything just as much! Only suggestion would be to offer a rowboat as fishing from the dock was not productive, though it may just have been the time of year — fish are fickle. We will be going back next year for sure.

Great Lake Location

We were looking for a house rental near to a friends family wedding with multiple bedrooms, group space and a view. This house looked great online and didn't disappoint. We had a great time. Rick

Wonderful weekend away with Mom

We took our Mom away for the weekend and enjoyed an evening at the Salem Cross Inn. Accommodations were nice despite the cold weather. We found the parking to be a little tricky in winter conditions due to the hill. The bedrooms were comfort and we enjoyed the ping pong table. Plenty of room around the diningroom table for games and snacking in addition to meals. Kitchen tools need updating as well as pillows, blankets and ping pong paddles. Plenty of hot water for multiple showers. Porches were wonderful for excellent view of the lake. Would recommend this rental for a large group and would stay here again - definitely in warmer weather.
