Gorgeous large house with beautiful kitchen. We cooked ALL of our meals here. We had questions about the heating system and someone was there quickly to sort it out! The house has easy access on the north side of town and Davenport is doing a good job of advertising itself.

The house was perfect for our weekend getaway with our adult children. The kitchen was large and easy to prepare meals in. If you’re taking your dog with you, there is a park like cemetery right across the street that is pet friendly. It was close to downtown and the neighborhood was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stunning historic home thoughtfully updated. All amenities were top-notch. We loved seeing the deer and wild turkeys across the street every morning. I could live happily ever after I the sunroom!

My husband and I wanted a long weekend get away. Our first night after a relaxing massage at Patosa Spa, we were able to further unwind on the patio. Loved the wild flowers and grilling outside. We indulged in chocolate and coffee while reading and visiting in the lovely sunporch in the mornings and after exploring all day, it was a nice place to come home to.

Charming house with great access to Dubuque and surrounding area. Was perfect for our stay, plus we were able to bring our dog rather than board him. YouTubeTV and a large kitchen made our stay much easier with kids.

This charming home was clean, well maintained with amenities as described. The beds and fresh linens provided very comfortable sleep. The kids enjoyed the trundle bed. Plentiful bathroom and shower amenities. Full stocked kitchen for our needs with extra snacks from the host appreciated. Wonderful sunny, cozy areas for relaxation, visiting and playing games. Ample parking in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Sherri was a good communicator, quick to respond to any questions and a great host.

Great relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was beautifully decorated, had all the necessities, and was the home was very comfortable. The fresh flowers and snacks were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

Nice House

We enjoyed the house. Plenty of space for 4 adults in our group. Nice seating area in backyard. The kitchen was well appointed.

We got in late, but the house was well lit and it was easy to gain access even arriving later than we had planned. Easy set up for a family of 6, beautiful home that you can tell is well loved! Thank you for sharing it with us!!

Dubuque

Our family and extended family plus one toddler enjoyed our stay for our daughter’s college graduation. Everything made our stay very comfortable and we loved the neighborhood and proximity to where we needed to go. Thank you!

Great House!

This is a great property. Communication with the owner was very prompt and helpful. House was spacious for our family and very accommodating. We were able to relax inside the house and outside on the patio. The kitchen was big to cook and just hang. Easy access to activities.

All the rooms were very clean and well put together. There were fresh cut flower arrangements in nearly every room of the house. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful. It was hard to decide if I wanted to spend all my time at the property inside or outside due to how wonderful the entire property was. I had a few other people staying with me during the booking who they kept commenting on how beautiful the home was as well.The kitchen is perfectly laid out, with plenty of space for prepping and cooking. The fridge, stove and oven were spotless. All the basic kitchen items were available, as well as storage containers and even some unexpected appliances such as mixers, a crockpot and an air fryer. I also found the location to be perfect, I was only minutes away from any stores or restaurants I visited. It's position near a local public area also meant I had access to a nice area for walks, and beautiful trees to gaze at in the mornings and evenings. The host was very friendly and responsive. She answered all my questions thoroughly and quickly. I absolutely recommend this place as a must stay when visiting Dubuque.

Wonderful Historical home near downtown

The home was so beautiful and very comfortable for my little family, including my 6 year-old son. We had three bedrooms, plenty of space for me and my two sons to have our own rooms. The historical charm made the stay so much more pleasant. The stairs took a little getting used to as they are older and steep. The kitchen was lovely and well-equipped with a supply of coffee ready to be enjoyed on the lovely patio. I spent most of my time lounging in the sunroom and in the beautiful garden listening to the birds. My kids were able to entertain themselves in and around the house with my college-aged son studying in the beautifully decorated dining room and my youngest running down the outdoor hills in the back. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We were provided with plenty of snacks for the kids to enjoy. I greatly appreciated the fresh flowers in the kitchen and hallway. The house is so close to downtown so, we had plenty of restaurants and historical sites to see. Overall it was a lovely, well-kept home. Thank you for allowing us to stay for the week!
