Ocean View Home

"Paradise at Ehupua" is a holiday home with ocean views. It is situated in Honolulu, Wailai Iki, Kahala district. This property has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a covered Lanai to enjoy the ocean view, a private outdoor pool, and a hot tub. Each bedroom includes air conditioning and a ceiling fan. This property may be rented for 30 consecutive days or more, and no sublet is allowed. Rental prices will not be reduced or adjusted based on the days the rental is used or occupied.

Honolulu Airport is 10 miles from the property. Waikiki Beach and Kahala shopping center, which features a "Whole Foods" supermarket, many shops, restaurants, and 'Macy's" department store, are minutes away. Hanauma Bay, the most popular tourist destination on the island, is only 15 minutes from this property. Enjoy a quiet and relaxing time at Kahala Beach, which is 7 minutes away. This property does not offer accommodations for wedding receptions, large gatherings, or late-night parties. There is no charge for utilities, including water, electricity, WIFI, high-speed Internet, cable, and pool cleaning service. Please contact the property manager at 1 (650) 302-6686 for more details. Hawaii's short-term rental ordinance rules apply to this property. The ordinance allows a maximum occupancy of six persons, including children.

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING FACILITY. When you arrive, a local representative will greet the guests and be available to help with any issues. All Funds are 100% refundable if canceled 60 days before the arrival date. Cancellations less than 60 days before the arrival date will not receive a refund, and funds become non-refundable. In this case, we will refund the cleaning fee. Receptions, other large gatherings, and commercial activities are prohibited. Using the hot tub and the swimming pool is at the guests' discretion and risk.

One of our Best Vacations

My children and I spent a week in this home over spring break this year. I grew up in Hawaii so I knew that the area would be great. It was. The home was exactly as pictured and was the perfect home away from home for us. It was centrally located to all that we wanted to see, wonderful views during the day, and cool breezes at night. However, the best part of our stay was the attention to detail provided by the owner. Really went out of her way to ensure that our stay was wonderful. This was really good as my first experience with VRBO.

A Beautiful Home

The house was the perfect place for our family vacation in Hawaii. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who teated us like family--even providing food upon our arrival, a most welcome gesture as we were both tired and hungry after our long journey. The house and yard are beautifully kept and have all the comforts of home plus a pool and hot tub, and view of the ocean. Our stay in Sherry's home was unforgettable and we would love to return to it in the future.

Perfect family vacay

The property was located in a very nice neighborhood with a fantastic view of the ocean. We were able to explore Waikiki and the North Shore with ease. The hospitality of the host exceeded expectations.

Perfect in every way!

Sherry is amazing, she is responsive, generous, and lovely - from the first time we inquired through today. She arranged everything perfectly for us! When we arrived at the house hungry from our long day of travel, there was an incredible spread for us! We couldn't believe it. It allowed us the freedom to immediately relax and not have to run to the store right away as we usually have to do when we get to a property. Oh, and she had a big basket of snacks too! Amazing!! She also had fresh flowers and the dining table set like a beauty of a fine restaurant. Any thing we needed during our stay was there - from the zip lock bags to beach bags, life vest for our little one, to a coolers for our drinks, umbrella, sand mats, etc. The house and grounds are immaculate. The house is beautiful, roomy, inviting, and such a great design. We loved the covered porch (with a beautiful view of the ocean) and spent lots of time there as our youngest daughter was in the pool as much as possible. I also loved how the shaded porch kept our older kids present with us - instead of being in the house on their devices - they were on the porch playing games and mixing with the rest of us! The neighborhood felt very safe and it's also convenient in many ways (traffic wise and proximity) - super great location! I can't say enough good things about our experience. We look forward to our next visit to Hawaii and will work our dates around when Sherry's home is available because her home is the best accommodations we have had (we go to Hawaii on a regular basis so we have lots of properties to compare it to). I also want to note that the property manager we met when we arrived is also wonderful. She is knowledgeable, kind and had a fun sense of humor. Thank you Sherry and team you do a wonderful job! Clean, great location and lots of extras.

The house was better in person than the pictures! Sherry and the property manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They thought of everything and have many amenities! The snacks, drinks and lunch awaiting us upon arrival were just wonderful! Would definitely stay at this house again on our next time visiting Hawaii!

Amazing house! Felt very welcomed.

We felt very welcomed as we were met by the property manager. Herself and the owner went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. House was very clean. Great view. Great location. Everything was above and beyond and exceptional and I definitely recommend staying here.

Totally loved our week-long stay! Perfect location!

Host was extremely communicative from pre-stay to last minute need to extend check-out time for red-eye flight. Comfortable, very, very clean, all amenities, lots and lots of sleeping space as well as gathering space to entertain local family whom we wanted to be close to in Waialae Kahala area. Yet also easy to access freeway to get to our wedding reception venue at Camp Smith in Halawa!

Amazing place to stay!!

The views are spectacular, the neighborhood was wonderful and family friendly, and the host was beyond helpful. Our plane arrived late at night and we were exhausted. We were greeted at the house with freshly baked cookies and other treats. We were provided with breakfast foods so we didn’t have to worry about getting up and finding food the next morning. We were also provided with a few other necessities to help make our stay comfortable. The owner was great to keep in contact with as well as provided some tips to make our travel around the island easier. Best part of this home was sitting on the lanai every evening as the sun set and letting the island breezes cool!! I would recommend this property, in fact I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Perfect! So relaxing with beautiful views.

First of all, Sherry the owner is super attentive and helpful. She really outdid herself with the hospitality. The home itself is beautiful and with enough room for my family of 6 and a 4 year old. The views are perfect and the neighborhood is so nice and super quiet. Also, 10 min drive from highway. Sherry’s home is equipped with beach chairs, snorkeling gear, towels, pool toys, anything you might need in the kitchen. Speaking of kitchen, the fridge was loaded with food and there were baskets with snacks. There were drinks and sandwiches when we arrived from airport which was very much appreciated after our 4 hour flight. She even left a cake since I mentioned it was my birthday the day of our arrival! :) Soooo sweet. We all loved it and are defineltely looking to stay here again on our next trip to Oahu. You won’t regret booking this place !!

Friendly welcoming most suitable for anyone visiting Oahu

At arrival we were kindly introduced by Kellie and we are also contacted by Sherry on the phone assuring everything was OK. After a long journey it was fantastic to be greeted with a full dinner and complimentary food. The house was tidy and well equipped. We have really enjoyed our vacation. The neighbourhood is safe and the view from the lanaii is stunning. We felt more like guests than rentals and we do recommend this house to others.

Amazing ,beautiful , relaxing!!!!!!!!

Sherry’s home is the perfect place for a Hawaiian vacation. Her home is packed with everything you need or could want. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing and the home is close to stores and restaurants and beaches. And if you need anything Sherry and Kelly will see to it immediately that you get it , wonderful hostess .... oh and did I mention the beds are so nice :) if I ever go to Hawaii again I’ll be getting ahold of Sherry that’s for sure. Thanks for sharing your home with us .

Stunning view!

Beautiful house, clean and a view to take your breath away. We were greated with food and wine and a tour of the home. Wonderful hospitality and we will absolutely stay here again! Car recommended.

Exceptional hospitality

My family took Mom to celebrate her significant birthday on her first trip to Hawaii. I have used VRBO many times and this was by far the best hospitality we were ever shown. We were greeted on a warm afternoon with fresh fruit, snacks and other essential food, cool drinks, and instructions on everything in the house by the propergy manager, John. Sherry had left a hand written note to greet us for our Hawaii adventure. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The dining room was beautifully set, but we never used it because the view from the lanai and the ocean breeze were too inviting to sit inside. Sherry and John made sure we had everything we needed to make this vacation so memorable. The location is outside of the busy city and made our stay very relaxing. For our style, this was much nicer than any hotel or condo. Thanks, Sherry, for making us feel so comfortable in your beautiful home.

Exceptional House

This house was simply the best house I have ever rented. We were met by the property manager upon arrival, and Sherry greeted us with a personal phone call as well. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was clean and well decorated. It was stock with plenty of food, fruits, snacks, and drinks, more than we could finish. The ocean view from the patio was exceptional. We spent plenty of time just relaxing there. We were also happy with all the beach supplies that the house prepared for us - towels, chair, gears, coolers, etc. It was more that we had ever expected. The location was ideal for our first time on the island. We were less than 30 minutes drive from Waikiki and the airport. It's also very close to Hanauma Bay for snorkeling. I don't think I could have chosen a better house than this one.

Wonderful home! Excellent location!

We were lucky enough to get invited to this special house by friends that we only get to see once a year. This was the perfect home for a "friend reunion". Plenty of room for 7 adults and 1 15 month old baby. Very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook-in, is large enough for multiple folks to move around in. The location is also close to restaurants if you choose to go out. The large lanai over looking the pool was wonderful to dine on. The property manager was very attentive when we arrived. He had stocked the kitchen with snacks ahead of our arrival and took time to explain how to use air conditioners and the hot tub. It was a fabulous trip with friends that started with this beautiful home.

Didn't want to come home!

Words do not do this home justice! Just returned from a week long stay at this beautiful home. We were welcomed by property manager Kelly. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs, bacon, bread, water, and drinks. There was a basket of fresh fruit and snacks. Lots of beer and a couple bottles of wine too! In all the years of house rentals, we have never encountered such a welcome! The pool was great. We spent many an afternoon there after a day of sightseeing. The house had everything you could ask for. Thank you Sherry for having such a wonderful home away from home!

beautiful home with dedicated and attentive property manager

Your hospitality is beyond anything we've experienced with other vacation rental owners. The view was outstanding and I kept calling it out to the kids as I wished they could appreciate having something so beautiful right there every day. The rooms were well appointed, the sofa very inviting for movies, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen utensils were so well stocked. The internet service worked well for my friend who needed to work. The towels and pool/beach toys on the lanai were handy. :) We're not familiar with Oahu and this neighborhood truly was situated well to access Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Waikiki, north shore, local shopping etc. Very convenient.

PARADISE!!!

The pictures do not do this house justice! The views are breathtaking (ocean and of diamonhead!) It's such a quite peaceful neighborhood, no traffic noise and we never heard the neighbors. It is 15-10 minutes from airport and downtown Honolulu. SO very easy to get around, especially when you have no idea how to pronounce the road names:) The owner is always available and always so pleasant! She helped make the best out of our time on the island. Her assistant is equally as warm and welcoming! House had everything you could think of! And it was immaculate! The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature always! Our group of 4 was blown away by the hospitality, including large exotic floral bouquet and amazing food and snacks that were gifts for us when we got to the house! (and wine, which was gone in about 10 seconds):) This is where we will stay again if we are lucky enough to make it back to Oahu!

Beautiful view and close to everything!

This house is amazing and what a great location. We were 10 minutes away from Waikiki and 45 minutes from North shore. The house has an amazing view of the ocean and is located in a quiet suburban neighborhood. The lanai overlooks the pool so we got to hang out there while my son went swimming so we were able to watch him. The bedrooms are nice and roomy and all have a an island feel, there is one bedroom with a portable AC unit which was perfect because my 2 year old is hot sleeper. There are fans throughout the home and huge sliding doors so we constantly felt the island breeze. Sherri, the owner is a pleasure to work with. She is super responsive which in my opinion is super important when renting a vacation home because you have no idea what to expect. She had a fridge full of drinks and snacks when we arrived so we were able to enjoy the house for a couple of hours before hitting the market. It was just a nice touch to start off our vacation—super sweet of her to go above and beyond. Kelly, her leasing manager was extremely helpful when we arrived. She basically set the tone of our trip and it was a great one! Best trip in Hawaii so far. We are already planning our trip next year and I will definitely be contacting Sherri again. Thank you, Sherri!
