The house was perfect for a girls night out in German Village! We loved that there was a designated place to park so we didn't have to find street parking, and the yard and house were so cute and well-maintained. The host was very quick to respond to communications, which is very helpful. We'd love to stay again on another trip!

This was the 3rd time staying here. Always clean and comfortable and our go to when in Columbus! House has everything you need. Have never used the hot tub but it looks nice and well kept.

We loved everything about this place! From the hot tub down to the positively charming light fixtures in the downstairs bedroom, the house was fantastic. The neighborhood was charming as well. I wouldn’t recommend driving a large SUV though because the alley for parking was a little tight. Our group had a wonderful time and I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our crew had a wonderful time at this house! We complimented it the entire time we were there. Beware, the deposit is STEEP, even for one night and it will take 3 weeks after checkout before you get it back.

We had the best time here! So clean and beautiful! Effortless check in and check out and she let us check in early! Highly recommend and the host is so sweet!

Chelsey was a great host. Whenever I had a question she would respond immediately. The historic charm made for an excellent girls weekend. We especially loved the hot tub!

I thought everything was pretty smooth at the property was nice and bed was comfortable however, there was not any extra toilet paper so we had to buy our own. There is also a floodlight that does not shut off outside above the hot tub which was hard to the hot tub as any little movement set off the light. We also were not able to have conversations outside at night the neighbor who was watching us out his window which kind of creeped us out and he ended up calling the Host, although we did not do anything other than have a conversation he made it a big deal which ruined the experience for us. Other than that, we had a great weekend!

Thanks for the review. I can appreciate your experience, but I would like to note a few items. There is extra toilet paper at the property and I offered to fully reimburse you for the extra you did need to buy. The flood light does have an off switch, I would have been happy to direct you to the switch had you reached out. Finally, the neighbors are quite lovely (not creepy), but did complain as you were outside making noise in the yard past 3am on a weekday, which can be disruptive as this is a residential neighborhood. We worked tirelessly to accommodate you leading up to and throughout your stay, even accommodating a check out 90 minutes past checkout time even though that was not requested ahead of time. I am glad to hear the experience was otherwise smooth.

This is by far the cleanest rental we have stayed in! In our experience, the details get missed or neglected at most places. They have done a great job at renovating this 150 year old house! It is comfy and cozy and well decorated on the inside and the kitchen is well stocked for doing your own cooking. Although we did not take advantage of the hot tub, the backyard is a nicely landscaped garden area which I'm sure is beautiful during non winter months. This will be our go to when visiting Columbus.

German Village Charm

We loved the property and location in German Village. It is well-presented and within walking distance to all that the village has to offer. It was a great escape for the weekend and, as an added bonus, right next door to one of the stops on the annual German Village Haus und Garten Tour. Thank you, Chelsey, for being such a responsive and accommodating host. It was much appreciated.

Upscale Luxurious Feeling

We pick this place for the hot tub. Wanted a relaxing stay with no kids. Very pleased with how nice this house was. Usually beds suck in ones I’ve stayed in but this was was very comfortable and the blankets were very snuggly and comfortable. Bathroom with large shower was very nice as well. Hope to stay again in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful back yard and fire pit.

Cozy home in charming German Village

My two family members and I stayed here while we were in town for the Stadium Series at Ohio Stadium. The hosts did an amazing job renovating and modernizing this 1800s-era home and it was very comfortable, with a ton of amenities. The upstairs bedrooms are a little tight for taller folks and the staircase is a tad treacherous due to limited railings, which is understandable given the age of the house. There are plenty of things to do nearby within walking distance and it felt safe at night. It's about a 15 min drive to downtown, Ohio Stadium, and the airport, with plenty of Ubers. The only hiccup was the automatic door lock accidentally resetting the entry code during our stay and locking us out. Fortunately it was during the day and the hosts came over and fixed it right away. I wish we had used the hot tub, but probably too cold for it. Would definitely recommend folks stay here and take in the charming neighborhood. Thanks again to the hosts!
