The place was absolutely gorgeous and love that they had so many items in the kitchen to cook with including spices. Would recommend.

Beautiful view of the lake through large windows. Very peaceful. Beds/pillows are super comfy. Short walk to grocery store, café, coffee shop. Short drive to The Den. Kayaking around the bend to the beach was fun. If only we could live there.

Well appointed house, attentive host, and a great location with a mostly flat walk out to the lake made for an excellent stay. House is very accessible with wide doorways and no steps. Highly recommend!

This place is right on the lake and has a great yard in between the house and the water for yard games and hanging out at the fire pit. There's a nice dock and it looked like there was good fishing areas right nearby (mother nature, unfortunately, prevented us from confirming that!). The kitchen is well-equipped with updated appliances and the beds are comfortable. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate. This place would be good for a family with kids or just a group of friends getting together. Highly recommend!

Summer Getaway

Great access for swimming, kayaking and sitting on the patio enjoying the view of the lake. Close access to boat landing, town and fun activities for the family. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Sandy bottom lake home was fantastic

Instructions were sent which made the check-in process very easy leaving was simple and glad for the instructions

Great lakefront property that has everything you need! Host was very responsive and knowledgeable on things to do/see if the area. Check in/out was very simple. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay, it was nice to have spices to cook with. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner everyday in front of the picture window overlooking the lake. Located walking distance to the grocery and diner. Host was helpful and checked on us via text mid stay.

Lake House

This is a beautiful lake house & my family enjoyed our stay. The location was great with the state park & golf course nearby and we were able to do some boating before the rain started.

Relax by the Lake

We had a delightful stay at Shannon and John’s house. The house was impeccably clean and comfortable. The view of the lake from the kitchen was very beautiful. Shannon and John were very responsive and helpful hosts. We would love to stay again one day!

The pictures don't do the property justice. It was way prettier than the pictures show. Appreciated the location and the proximity to the water. Plus, for those of us that still love to cook on vacation, the gas range was a plus. It was awesome that we could rent a boat and then dock it to cook some lunch and take a nap. If there was anything I could improve, it would be to put up some sort of curtain or blinds on the window in the living room to block view to the rental cabins next door. Also, in other VRBO rentals, they have a binder of things to visit/see in the area. We were able to find some cool stuff, like the safari, but it would have been great if there was some information about the area available. If we were to vacation again in Minnesota, we would definitely rent this again.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay. The house fit all our needs and had everything we needed. Our boys loved fishing off the dock and having access to the boat. The close grocery store and public boat ramp was very nice and convenient.

Nice new lake house worked out perfect for our needs. Can't wait to come back. Caught fish right off thr dock. Beautiful sunsets on a quiet part of a huge lake. Even had some northern lights and a balb eagle visited several times.
