Love it!!

Secluded but close enough to all the natural wonders in the area. We floated the river, took a day a trip to Eminence. Visited family camping nearby and had enough room to bring family over for a child’s bday.

Current River Getaway

We had a great overall experience. We ran into a problem and the host got it taken care of that same day! Communication was good and host took care of us. Highly recommend!

Cabin was just as pictured, plenty of space for everyone! We had a great time. We realized after arriving the fridge was not keeping our things cold, contacted the property manager and she quickly got us a new working fridge in roughly 2.5 hours! So very quick to act and very friendly.

Great place to get away from everything but close enough to all that the Van Buren area has to offer. We ran out of propane while we were there but the host was on it and had everything back up and going first thing the next morning. I would highly recommend this cabin and host. I hope to be back again!

We enjoyed our stay, the property is wooded and peaceful with lots of birdsong throughout the day. The cabin is a good base camp for getting to the area recreation sites. Communication from the manager indicated a dishwasher but there isn’t one. The kitchen appliances are nice and we cooked most of our meals. Bring paper plates to save on dishwashing! A regular coffee machine would be good to pack though there is a Keurig. The photos of the upstairs don’t quite capture the toilet situation, if you don’t require much privacy it’s probably ok, but it’s pretty much open to the king bed sleeping area, and to get to the room with the twin beds you walk through the king bedroom/toilet area. Upstairs has a window unit a/c, downstairs has a mini-split type a/c. Very functional and comfortable for a family vacation.
