This is a one bedroom apartment in a shared house overlooking the town of Van Buren, Missouri. We are located at 1000 feet of elevation and the Current River and the town are about 500 feet below. From the porch of this apartment you can see more than twenty miles, and the landscape and visuals are ever-changing. We are located about three miles from Big Spring National Park and less than two miles from the Current River National Scenic Riverway.

The property was amazing. We absolutely loved sitting on the porch watching all of the hummingbirds and deer! So cozy and a perfect location to everything. We will be back!

This was a cozy little spot to stay not far from the river with a stunning view. Humming birds visit the feeders daily....which make your morning coffee delightful. Clean and inviting, there is plenty to keep you entertained. If the current river isn't enough, this quiet apartment offers a pit for bonfires and an array of board games. Pet friendly, huge bonus, and they even supply dog bowls and a kennel. An extra touch and added thoughtfulness I haven't seen other hosts do. I would definitely return and recommend staying here!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! It was clean, peaceful, secluded, and very pet-friendly. The location offered a gorgeous view of the small town below and the Current River.The front porch was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. One of our favorite parts was watching the hummingbirds. There were several feeders hanging on the porch, and dozens of hummingbirds would come by throughout the day. It was such a peaceful and beautiful sight!If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway surrounded by beautiful views and nature, we highly recommend this property. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Close to everything

Loved our stay. Super cute, close to everything we wanted to do, yet out far enough for that country feel. Spectacular view of the mountains and Current River. Will stay here again and will recommend to others.

Great Property and view!

Great place and friendly people. Fantastic view to come home to after a day in the outdoors. Very quiet setting as well if that’s important to you.

Perfect place

Comfortable apartment and very helpful host. Loved watching the sunset from the patio! Swimming, hiking and floating very close by. Great getaway.

We have been enjoying the outdoors and the town of Van Buren, Missouri for years. We are excited to continue the tradition of the previous owners of renting the apartment to others so that they, too, can enjoy all that the Ozark National Scenic Riverways area has to offer.

We feel very fortunate that the former owners retired to another part of the country just at the right time for our family. After spending many years in and around Van Buren, we are excited to be a part of this community and continue to enjoy the river, the hiking, the fishing, and more for years to come.

The view here is spectacular and the location cannot be beat. We are close to amenities yet are more secluded than a hotel. With the full kitchen and outdoor grill, guests can make themselves at home.
