INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

The balcony was covered in mold. After we wrote about it, a worker came and cleaned it. The sofas were very dirty and it was even scary to sit there. The bed was also dirty. It looked unwashed. Overall, the apartment needs renovation. In my 7 stays in Panama, this was not the best experience.

Beautiful and views for forever

This is such a beautiful and peaceful unit! The colors and decorations were very serene and cohesive. The kitchen had almost everything we could need including a big pot to boil if we wanted and children's plates and storage for food. Our visit to this unit was wonderful with a few minor setbacks that were addressed quickly. The door to the patio needed the handle fixed and that was addressed quickly and there was a suspicious stain on a pillow that was gross, but it was a decorative pillow that did not hinder us sleeping in the bed. The Wi-Fi was a struggle, but we finally got it, so it was usable to finish out our stay (my husband was working from "home"). We love the restaurant downstairs, and the pool is the kids favorite area. Thanks so much for opening your home to us and our family!! Boardwalk is the best!

The floor in our place was not cleaned. It was sandy and not vacuumed. Also, the sofa desperately needs to be replaced. The furniture is so large that it doesn’t have enough space to use the table unless you move it. The stools at the counter don’t fit the counter.We were unaware of 90 parking fee. The pool seemed to be cloudy the entire week.We have stayed at the resort many times. This was not the best.

Love the Boardwalk Beach Resort and have stayed there many times. A great location quieter & less busy part of Front Beach Road. Great amenities the Tiki Bar/Grill and cafe is so convenient. The condos are spacious and the building is well maintained. It is our go to place in PC Beach. This is the first booking through Panhandle Getaways. And this was most disappointing. First, they neglected to disclose there are resort fees and parking fees. We found out at the security check station to get into the complex that we owed an additional 83 & had to register at the gate. This could have been avoided if Panhandle had notified us when booking and provided the registration site. Second, while the condo was clean, the floors were very, very sandy and dirty. Walking barefoot resulted in dirty feet. Much better after we got a Swiffer to clean it ourselves. Also, the furniture is stained and dirty. We covered them with sheets for most of our stay. Third, very limited towels. We washed them 3x in 6 days. Lastly, the MBR door does not have a handle on the inside; when the door closes, you're stuck until someone opens it from the family room if they're home. If not, you need to use the MBR slider door to the deck & hope the slider from the deck to the family room is not locked. Otherwise, you're stuck until someone comes back. I would definitely book at Boardwalk Resort just not through Panhandle.
