We had the best time at this rental. It was beautiful. Had everything we needed. It is so close to the beach and had great views. Communication was quick. We would definitely come again.

Just wish we could have stayed longer. We've been to a number of properties over the years but the details and overall space and ambience of Sweet and Salty is number one! Miss Shelly is a consummat host. She was always very prompt and so helpful with every detail. I offer my 10/10 without hesitation or qualification. It's an amazing property!

This is the perfect place to stay! Very clean, well stocked with great furnishings. The host is very responsive and quick to answer. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again.

This beach house was PERFECT and the host is extremely sweet! We didn’t want to leave!! A definite must rent! Perfect for big groups!

This beautiful, well-equipped house really has it all!! It’s amazing these days when something exceeds your expectations! The host was incredibly responsive and pleasant! I would not have changed a thing about the house- beautifully decorated, comfortable, plenty of rooms and beds for everyone, large spaces for everyone to be together, great ocean views, every amenity imaginable for cooking and playing- perfect! Loved the downstairs space- great fenced in area for the dogs and a festive place to congregate. This was really the perfect setting for our family get together!!!

This is an incredible house and is perfect for a larger group. This is our second year staying for our annual teal hunt, and we plan to book it every year that we continue hosting this hunt weekend…..Will recommend and will rent again!

This house and the host were both amazing! The house has many amenities and is extremely well-stocked. The host went out of her way to make our stay over Christmas special. Those of us that have stayed at many vacation rentals all agreed that this was the best overall one any of us have stayed in.

Best beach house I've stayed in, after coming to Bolivar for almost 50 years. Beautiful house, kitchen supplies, lots of sleeping, incredible downstairs entertaining area, jaw-dropping tv for watching the game.

What a great place to stay!

The house was awesome. Big and clean, well furnished with everything our family could have hoped for. We came to attend a wedding, but the house was so nice and well equipped, we may come back and stay here just to relax and enjoy the beach!

Lovely home!

We had a great time in your lovely home. The accommodations are great, and it’s so close to the beach. My family had a very easy vacation at the beach and then playing games at the house. We’ll be back!

Great for families!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and decorated! It had everything we needed for a family stay. Everything was very well thought out and the owners made sure things were easily explained as far as how things worked. The down stairs patio area was great fun. The bar setup made us feel like we were in our own hangout! We would stay there again in the future!

We stayed at this beach house over the Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday through Sunday), and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The house was an easy walking distance to the beach and was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the bathrooms had plenty of essentials. There were also lots of toys for the kids and games for both kids and adults, which made our family time even more fun.Shelly, the owner, was incredibly pleasant and truly helped make our stay memorable. My family and I were happy and comfortable throughout our entire visit. The location was also perfect—very convenient to restaurants, the beach, and nearby stores.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-appointed getaway.

Family Reunion

This house is so accommodating. Something for all ages!! Close to the beach and all restaurants, stores and shops. The Host for this property is the best host ive had at any prooerty in Crystal Beach!! Shelly was so helpful and went the extra mile for us with any questions we had. Highly Recommend!!! Beautiful property!!

Thanksgiving 2024 Family Beach Vacation

We had the best time in this beautiful home. Of all of the homes we've stayed in on Crystal Beach, this was the best stocked with everything we needed. Shelly was a super host and quickly responded to every text and email message. We enjoyed our beach time. While it was too cool for most to swim it was the best for relaxing near the water and taking long walks. A perfect 5 from us!

Our family of 9 adults and one teenager came back again this year and enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were great. The owners are friendly and attentive to any questions presented. The lift is great for bringing up all the luggage, ice chests, food totes, etc. We played a new game, You've got Crabs. It was a lot of fun. Great beach house in which to stay.

The house and the property are very clean and well taken care of, the rooms are spacious, and the host has thought about all the little things that make the difference. The pictures are nice on the website, but once you get to the house, it is even better than the pictures show. The downstairs area was great. We had a fish fry one night and enjoyed the evening outdoors that night . The host has plenty of beach chairs and sand toys for the kids. A great family retreat . We will definitely be coming back in the future.

This property has it all, Ocean view, all the beach chairs & toys for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything. Nice big table & counter for everyone to sit down & have a meal at.The beds were very comfortable. The place has so much space ,it's very well laided out. We had a great time. Surpassed Expectations

We have stayed at numerous beach properties over the past 20 plus years. This one surpassed them all. Primarily due to the extras provided, like beach towels, chairs, a boogie board, games of all kinds, excellent wifi, and the video console for the "kids". We had a great time and wished it could have been longer to enjoy it all.

Wonderful House & Family Weekend!

Wonderful house and host! The house was stocked with everything you can think of (lots of toys for the kiddos, kids dishes & silverware, margarita machine, beach towels, beach toys & chairs, shampoo, conditioner & body soap that actually smelled good & so much more). The park style grill worked great - larger than expected. Outdoor shower was nice and stocked with shampoo, conditioner & body soap. Close to the beach. One of our favorite things was the cargo lift for unloading and loading your belongings. The house was very clean with an open concept. We will definitely book this house again.

Our family of 10 adults enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. the beds were comfortable and accommodations were great. the owners are friendly and attentive to any questions presented. the kitchen was well supplied with what was needed to eat, cook, bake, etc. we like the large dining table. we liked all the nicely decorated bedrooms being on the same level. the lift was great for getting ice chest, luggage, food to the main floor. close proximity to the beach with a golf cart or walking was good. the cornhole boards added excitement to our days. We encourage others to come!
