We had an amazing time. The house had everything you needed and was very clean. The paddle boards and trampoline on the water were perfect. We were centrally located for convenience to Harper’s Ferry and other excursions.

The photos do not even begin to tell how wonderful this property is- we are already planning when we can go back. Alexis was wonderful, so many touches that are very well thought out. BEST VACATION EXPIERIENCE I have ever had- perfect property.

Family Weekend Trip

Great home on such lovely, large private property. Everything was beautifully decorated and so well thought out. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and amazing view from all the rooms. The kids especially loved peddle boating, and walking around the quarry to find hidden treasures. There were just so many things to do! We highly recommend this place, and hope to come back soon.

Our own resort

This place was like having a resort to ourselves. Very clean and accommodating. The home owner is very personable. From the beautiful quarry, to the swings, floating docks, white beaches and kerokee room this is a true paradise. Come to your next adventure here!

Thanksgiving 2024

This home was spectacular inside and outside! The decor was amazing! This home provided for a wonderful time had by all. Very impressive and well thought out floor plan gave us plenty of room to sit and eat, watch tv, play games and even slip away for a nap! The inside of this home had everything our family needed to enjoy Thanksgiving, just fantastic! The outside was just as special! We took walks with the kids around the quarry - stunning - the fire pit provided for many hours of outside time even though it was very cold! All were sad to leave this wonderful property- can wait to return!

Well Beyond Expectations

Surprisingly the amazing pictures in the listing that led us to select the property still didn’t do it justice. Just an incredible property with so much fun to be had inside and outside. The quarry itself was a big draw and we did a lot of kayaking and relaxed at the beachfront cabana. The inside space was clean, high end furnishings, and well stocked with everything we needed. We tried everything from the gym, to the karaoke room, to the fire pits. The host was highly responsive and really had thought of everything. Our kids loved the place and asked about going back. Highly recommend.

Hapua is a one of a kind property that blends luxury amenities with the “Wild, Wonderful” side of West Virginia. The property grounds and house are immaculate, similar to what you would get at an upscale resort. There are plenty of activities for any traveler no matter if you are a fan of outdoor recreation, lounging around in one of the many different covered structures or even sitting in the comfort of the indoors while absorbing the views of the quarry and surrounding nature through the many windows.The property owners were very flexible with us during the stay and super easy to communicate with both before arriving and during our stay. They really do mean it when they say all you need to bring is yourself, your food, and your clothes. They’ve got everything else you’d need ready to go.I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience to celebrate a special occasion, they are set up to do both family and friends getaways as well as corporate events. We definitely hope to be lucky enough to visit again in the future!
