This cabin exceeded my expectations! If I had known how tranquil and beautiful the surroundings were we would have stayed a whole week! My husband and two 17 year old boys enjoyed the place. We were able to swim and fish in the lake. It was so nice to sit outside with the rustling of the leaves, sound of the cicadas and birds. The sauna and hot tub were nice. Beds were comfy and water pressure for bathing was great. The interior design and the layout of the living/dining room and kitchen was nice. It was very clean. The host responded appropriately. It was so hard to leave!

Very relaxing stay. Nice quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed watching the geese on the lake and deer and squirrels in the woods.

We rly enjoyed our stay!! Had a great time at the cabin for my bachelorette weekend! The hot tub was amazing and the host was responsive during working hours (though I do wish the working hours would extend longer into the night).

Perfect stay I just wish we could have stayed longer. The house was clean and welcoming. Settling in was easy the house is so cozy, perfect for four adults and four kids. The table sat us all for meals. The hot tub was a delight! We will come back :)

Nice property

Nice little cabin for our short stay in the area. Had all the amenities needed. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor space was nice with hot tub and fire pit.

Perfect lakeside getaway for a group of friends

The cabin had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend getaway. The lake served as the perfect backdrop for conversation, grilling and soaking in the hot tub. Would definitely come back again.

Great stay

My family and I stayed at the cabin for my husband’s birthday. We had a great time. The cabin was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. You can’t beat the location and amenities. Owners were very thorough, informative and detailed which I appreciated.

Cozy getaway

We had a wonderful two night stay. The cleanliness of the cabin was very apparent upon entry. The coziness made you feel at home with ease, and having the screened in porch when the weather wasn't cooperating was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay, it went to fast.

Great Cabin

I have stayed at this cabin 3 times now with my girl friends and we can’t emphasize enough how lovely the whole process is each time. From the views of the lake to the coziness of the cabin itself. Mountain Momma is wonderful to deal with. They are so precise about everything from check in to check out and everything in between. We highly recommend this cabin

Great getaway.

My wife and I needed a week away from kids and in a calm environment. This worked great. Two towns nearby if you want to get out for a while, and a great cozy and private environment in the cabin. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at this cabin for a family vacation. The home was exactly as described and very clean. The neighborhood is cute and the neighbors rooster in the morning added charm (we could not hear it inside the home, only when sitting on the deck). For the chilly nights the hot tub was perfect. The lake was shallow so the kids used tubes to float out on. Definitely recommend water shoes though. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking to unwind.

Ideal Weekend

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, and the view was gorgeous. Everything worked well and was well-appointed. We had no issues other than missing batteries for the TV remote control, which we were able to solve fairly quickly. Would absolutely stay again!

1 hr from DC. Beautiful private lake. The house is better than the pictures make it look. Slept 7 adults very comfortably. Could have done 8. Host is very professional.

Great Lake House!

Beautiful view of the lake, open windows, fireplace + heaters, and a clean working hot tub....what more can you ask for! Had all appliances we needed to make our own food. Everything was clean and well maintained. We'll be booking again in the future!

What a view

The location is perfect.... quiet... remote... right on the lake! The accommodations were very nice. the beds were comfy & clean, the necessities were all available (ie: trash bags, soaps, paper goods, etc.... Your morning alarm clock is a whiper from the birds and maybe a "quack" or two! We will be back!
