Great location that was centrally located in Florence. Great restaurants, shops, historical sites all within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Rachel was amazing host and we look forward to our next visit to this beautiful city.

This apartment was perfect for our family of five, with plenty of space and two bathrooms. We had a lot of laundry to do, so we really appreciated the washer and drying racks. The main shower had the best water pressure I’ve experienced in Italy. And you can’t beat the view from the windows… a magical view! We had a great stay!

This apartment is not only beautiful but it is also huge! And so perfectly located steps from the Ponte Vecchio and close to the grocery store and all the attractions. It has an elevator which is perfect and the air conditioning works great! Having 2 bathrooms is also a plus! Rachel met us at the apartment and was super helpful. Would definitely stay there again! One night there was a surprise fireworks show literally in front of our living room window over the Arno! Highly recommend!

There is an odor of sewage or decomposing animal in the master bedroom.

There is absolutely no odor of a dead animal, sewer or anything like that in the apt. We had a built in wardrobe which sometimes emitted an odor from the old wood. Its now been removed from the master bedroom! In the 20 years that I’ve been renting this apt, there is not one single bad review, all 5 or 4 stars!! Some people are just difficult even when on vacation!

The location is perfect! The apartment is across from the Uffizzi and within walking distance to most major attractions. The neighborhood is safe. There are great restaurants nearby. There is a convenient grocery down the street. The kitchen is well appointed. There are two full bathrooms but we could not get hot water in one of them. We never got an answer about how to fix it. We managed with the one bathroom. It may have been an issue had there been more than three of us. All in all, I thought it was a great stay.

I had written a message back immediately concerning the hot water in the small bathroom but accidently I didn't send it. I had explained that if there was hot water in one bathroom there had to be in the other as the gas heater is either working or not. I suggested that they may be using the hot water faucet in the shower improperly but that they should contact me if the problem continues. since I didn't have a response, I assumed all was well. An unfortunate situation. At any rate, when the cleaning ladies arrived the morning of the departure, there was hot water in the shower in the small bathroom. At any rate, sorry for the inconvience. You can see by all the comments posted concerning the apt there was never a problem with the hot water. Just an explanation by my part. Happy to hear the rest was great.

This was our first stay in Europe and it did not disappoint. Rachel's place was lovely convenient to walk to all tourist area. Surrounding area had amazing gelato! We would highly recommend staying here to all our friends and family.

Excellent stay and location

Really comfortable apartment with some character, and which stares at the Uffizi gallery and Ponte Vechio. Plenty large with two bathrooms and a full formal dining room and seating area. A grocery store and several restaurants with a minute's walk.

Holidays in Florence

We had an amazing time in Florence and the flat was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. The highlight was having the fireworks set off on the river directly in front of the living room window! We will definitely stay here again!
