The Space:

This private vacation home is on Chain Lake, one of the five lakes on Sugar Camp Chain. The home has incredible lake frontage with a sandy bottom for swimming, and the other lakes are easily navigable by boat! It sleeps 6-10.



This home boasts a beautiful open design that allows for breathtaking views of the surrounding area from every window. The spacious and contemporary kitchen is fully stocked and ideal for cooking for a large group. The dining room table can easily accommodate 6-10 people, and there are also two extra stools on the island. The living room provides ample seating and has a smart TV and DVD player.

(Please BYO DVDs). Additionally, a cozy pellet-burning stove can be used to enjoy extra warmth whenever needed.



Additionally, this home features a delightful outdoor space perfect for relaxation and socializing. The expansive patio offers a serene setting for morning coffee or hosting a summer barbecue with friends and family. The surrounding yard is beautifully landscaped, providing a tranquil and picturesque backdrop. Whether you desire a peaceful retreat or a vibrant gathering space, this home offers an ideal indoor and outdoor living blend.



Our home has a private dock and access to 2 kayaks, a rowboat, and a canoe, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the serene natural surroundings.

In the heart of Sugar Camp Wisconsin 20 minutes from St Germain and 25 minutes from Eagle River WI best of both great destinations. Direct access to the Sugar Camp Chain of lakes on Chain Lake.

My family and I had an excellent weekend in Eagle River celebrating our last summer adventure before the youngest boys returned to college. The house has a beautiful view and we spent all weekend on the pier reading, kayaking, swimming and just hanging out.

Nice log cabin on a beautiful lake. The fishing was great. Caught bluegills, crappies, and bass just off the dock. They have a rowboat, a canoe, and two kayaks, plus a floating platform to jump off of. Host was very responsive and check in process was super slick. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful property!!!

I highly recommend this location!! Home is absolutely beautiful, views are great, very clean and can accommodate a larger group. Caught panfish from the pier and there are other connecting lakes to explore as well (took boat to Sand and Dam Lakes and caught walleye, perch, smallmouth, crappies, etc). Location is easily accessible and within a short drive of Minoqua, Rhinelander, St Germain, and Eagle River! We are definitely hoping to return to this location in the coming years. Host was also very quick to respond to questions and a pleasure to work with. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Not what was expected.

Katy was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. She worked very hard to help with issues. Outdoor pictures were a little misleading. Not a sandy beach. Water was dark colored.

Quiet fall getaway

Had a great fall getaway, a little chilly. The house was as pictured. We were able to take a kayak out on the lake as well as fish off the pier. My husband caught several fish even though it is fairly shallow. Only issues had were with communication.. didn’t know we needed to bring our own towels till we were already 3 hours into our trip. There was a book saying there were pellets to heat the place but we weren’t able to locate any. Bedding seemed to be too small for beds cause when we woke in the am the sheets had popped off the corners. Also if wanting to watch TV, might want to bring a few DVDs, selection to choose from is small as well as the TV. Other than those small things the place is nice, place has plenty of room for up 10-13 to sleep Great sunset views.

Great place to take the kiddos and just relax. The lake was very quiet during our stay and we enjoyed every minute of it. The pier was nice too and the bluegill ae plentiful for our six year old to Ave a blast. The small sand area by the pier was great too. My wife has also expressed that she wants to come back. A special thanks goes to the owners whom ae willng to share their cabin.
