The wasabi house was everything and more. It was the perfect place to have a staycation. The house was perfect, the decor the ambiance was perfect! The only regret we had was not staying longer, lol. We will be returning to the Wasabi house.

The Four of Us

Wonderful views of the night time valley. Very comfortable beds, excellent open space with outdoor dining and swimming pool.

Serene and Well-stocked Home

We loved our stay here in Joshua Tree / Yucca Valley at Jamila's place. We found it very relaxing, as our hosts took great care in choosing lovely, comfortable furniture within a modern decor, providing a welcoming and very well-stocked home. Nice thoughtful touches, both indoors and out; we enjoyed a nice bbq dinner using the new grill next to the hammock and hanging chairs. The location was great for exploring the Joshua Tree area, including our hiking at Joshua Tree Park and a declious meal at the laid-back Crossroads Cafe (as recommended by our host). Our hosts were readily available, and responsive to our needs. This was, by far, one of our best VRBO experiences!! We hope to return to the area one day soon, and we know where we will stay!

I wish this was my house.

Chose this home because it was newly renovated and we really like mcm style. Furniture was high quality , appliances new and clean. Probably the quietest dishwasher I ever used. Actually it’s not really mcm style but a cross between Scandinavian and Japanese. Nice high quality sheets, towels and even the Tp. Views throughout the house were beautiful. Didn’t really hear the neighbors. Stayed 4 nights, wish we could have stayed longer! Bathrooms were new, super clean and beautiful. Lot’s of beautiful wood throughout the house. Pool and outdoor space was like being at a resort. We’ve stayed in a lot of beautiful places. My wife says this was her favorite. Jamila is an excellent communicator and really put a lot into this house. As more people start booking this place, we hope the price won’t increase beyond our budget…
