Enjoy resort-style living with all the comforts of home! This tastefully decorated two-bedroom, two-bath, smoke-free home is located in the newest section of Sun City Grand, near the Cimarron Center. Lots of great amenities; an electric golf cart is also available with the property for $1/mo. Sun City Grand, one of the best 'active adult' communities in Arizona offers it all--sun, fun, recreation and relaxation.

Sun City Grand has four beautiful golf courses, two state-of-the-art fitness centers where you can swim in any of the indoor or outdoor pools, work out, join fitness classes, or treat yourself to any number of spa services. You may purchase activity cards at the Welcome Center for reduced (resident) rates for golf and unlimited access to the activity centers and pools. The activity centers have several fun group and club activities to participate in if you wish. Enjoy the Arizona sun as you walk or bike around the winding neighborhood streets and trails.

Please note that Sun City Grand is an age-restricted community; One renter must be 45 years of age or older, no children under the age of 19. Minimum 30 day lease is required; no weekly rentals. PLEASE NOTE: During peak season (January-April), must rent as a 2-month block; the FULL MONTHS of January-February or the FULL MONTHS of March-April. We will not split months.

Lovely home in Sun City Grand

We enjoyed our month at Sun City Grand in Katy and Mike's house. The location was very convenient to golf courses - our main interest. The golf cart rental was a big bonus and saved quite a bit on golfing costs. The house is well appointed and very comfortable with a King size bed and recliners in the living room. The manager(neighbor) was very nice, professional and helpful. Thank you Katy and Mike for sharing your house.

Cozy Home, Perfect Location

We spent two months to escape our Minnesota winter. This is a very cozy home, stocked with everything you need. The location is wonderful. Only minutes from anything in the Grand community. We appreciated having access to a golf cart. Mike and Katy are very responsive to any questions or concerns, and want to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Yvonne, the onsite contact, is a gem. Highly recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely home in a great neighborhood.

This home has everything you would require for a great getaway to Arizona. A well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, a golf cart for running around the neighborhood, full laundry facilities…really everything you could ask for! The big plus is its location in The Grand, a beautiful 55+ neighborhood in Surprise. The house is walking distance or quick golf cart drive to the beautiful pool and recreation facility. The community is quiet, safe and offers all kinds of amenities. We used the walking trails daily in and around the community. It is a quick 5 minute drive to shopping and restaurants on nearby Bell Road. We stayed for a full month and thought it was a really great home to use as our base for our Arizona adventures!

Nice quiet home

This home is well equipped with kitchen essentials (including a slow cooker!) and a nice BBQ fed with a gas line for convenience. The master bedroom mattress is firm and supportive; the second bedroom queen one is much softer and best suited for a child or lighter weight adult. The neighborhood is super quiet and safe. Golf cart is nearly new and worked well. I recommend it. My only criticism is that the table and bedroom lamps are very old and need to be replaced.

Wonderful home

We spent a month in this clean and comfortable home. Loved the neighborhood. The owners provide all you need. Kitchen is well furnished if you wish to cook. Furniture and beds are very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting in the back yard watching the hummingbirds,. Property manager is very helpful and lives right across the street. We would definitely stay again.

Great House and Wonderful Hosts

The house is very charming and is located in a lovely neighborhood. It's well appointed and clean, with comfortable, attractive furnishings. The kitchen has all the dishware and cookware needed, plus a few special extras. It's the only house that I have rented that has crystal stemware, which was very welcome over the holidays. Most importantly, owners Katy and Mike are spectacular hosts, the best I have ever encountered. The property manager Yvonne is exceptionally kind and helpful. They are all some of the nicest people one could hope to meet. I felt so at home, and as though I had stayed with friends. You just can't ask for anything more.

Very professional.

It was great location. Golf cart provided was an extra plus. It was very clean and private. A little upgrading could could be done but overall it was a great experience.

Excellent Property - Excellent Location - Excellent Manager

We spent the month of November 2018 in this very nice property. We came to AZ with the idea of looking around for a good location to move to to be in the sun and this property, location and owners was perfect for us. The home was well equipped, clean, beds are comfortable, showers are good, plenty of room for 2 to 4 occupants. The location could not be better since it is close to Sun City Grand's two excellent facilities (pools, workout rooms), the streets are wide and clean and shopping, restaurants and grocery stores are within five minutes by car. The golf cart is a great asset and Katy the owner is very responsive to any requests. But best of all is the property manager Yvonne Parks. She is one of the nicest people we have ever met, she lives across the street and is there anytime you need her and she is a storehouse of knowledge about the area since she has lived in the area for years. Yvonne is a blessing and someone you will fall in love with as soon as you meet her. We accomplished our mission and it is thanks to Katy's property and Yvonne's wonderful character. We will be back! I enjoyed the desert and the mountains!

Lighting could be improoved. Replaced smoke detector battert. Repaired battery filler. All in all I enjoyed myself.

Perfect home away from home in a GREAT community!

We rented this home for 4 months to get away from the mid-west Winter. The home is located in a fabulous 55-plus community with great amenities (4-golf courses, 2-rec centers with exercise rooms & pools, etc). The house is perfect for a couple, but also has room for "guests". The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary items needed. The use of the golf cart definitely makes you feel like you have 2 "cars". My husband played quite a bit of golf, I was never left without "wheels". The area around Surprise is packed with hiking trails, which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Surprise has a wide variety of restaurants, mostly chain restaurants. However, you aren't far from Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale for more culinary experiences. Katy & Mike were great to work with, very accommodating! Would highly recommend this rental!!

Our November Vacation

My wife and I had a great time in Sun City Grand. Everything about the place was as reported and expected. My wife especially got a kick out off driving to all the golf courses in the provided golf cart (maybe include this in the rental). Golf courses were in very good shape and everyone was very friendly. The property manager was very helpful. The owners also went above and beyond ensuring our good time. Thanks to all.

Sun City Grand is the Place to be

We spent the month of March in this home and enjoyed being away of the never-ending winter. The posted pictures of the home were accurate and the home was very well furnished with everything you would want. The home was very neat and clean with nice comfortable furniture. There was plenty of room to have guest over to visit and prepare a meal for four. It was nice to have 2 TVs so we could both watch something different. My husband used the fitness center and the golfing facilities quite often and enjoyed both. It was an ideal location not only is the city of Surprise but in Sun City Grand also. It was also very close to the Cimarron center in SCG but very close to restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping.

First Time in Sun City Grand

My wife and I spent the month of January in this home and it was a perfect location for us. The listing and photos for the home are accurate and the interior looked freshly painted. The television set in the living room was updated to a LCD flatscreen by the owner during our stay and the ability to steam movies was an added bonus. Due to the unusually cold weather in January we chose not to use the backyard patio or gas barbecue. The home is about a 13 minute walk from the Cimarron fitness center, its tennis courts, pickle ball courts, swimming pool, and the golf course. We are avid golfers and there are 10 golf courses within a 15 minute drive of this home and others farther out. The 4 Sun City Grand courses are nice with very wide fairways and challenging greens but you need a SCG resident card to use the computer tee time system. To get the tee times you want, plan at least 8-10 days in advance since there are many golfers here and the courses are crowded. There are nice courses in Sun City West too with Deer Valley and Trail Ridge being our favorites. There is desert hiking at White Tank Mountain Regional Park and a nice drive to take is to Cave Creek and Carefree. We had two guests during the month and they enjoyed the second bedroom and bath. The living room is a nice size for four adults and the kitchen adequate for two meal preparers. The owner called us during the second week and asked how we were doing showing her concern that we were enjoying our stay. The property manager who handled our check in and check out was efficient and helpful in explaining details of the home and area. This home was very clean and a good value for the rent charged. We recommend it to others.

First visit to Arizona

Sun City Grand is an exciting place to stay for any season. We rented this property for December 2011 and enjoyed every day. Not only was the house big enough for us a couple, it also looked like brandnew and the place is nicely decorated. It doesn't feel like a rented space, it felt more like home. The furniture are good pieces and cooking was easy with all the existing appliances. The owners are very responsive in case it's necessary and the property management is fast and reliabe. We had an overall fantastic experience. Furthermore, some nice neighbours helped us out with Christmas decoration, and we didn't even aked first. Great neighbourhood, beautiful home.
