Beautiful home. The pictures are a little deceiving. The outside areas is small and it is also where you park so we weren’t ableTo utilize it like we were hoping. The washer and dryer are super small and didn’t work. The water pressure was really weak. But everything was so clean and felt like home. The beds were a dream! The decorating was top notch. Check in and check out was perfectly easy. Great communication. Walking distance from cute coffee and restaurants. Would for sure stay again!

We stayed here for New Year's with two families of four. Plenty of space and bedroom to accommodate all of our guests. The home is located right off King Street in a great location with lots of things to do in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Great bedding and pillows! We all slept really well. House was cold when we arrived but heat worked well once we got it on and running.

The pictures are definitely angled to make you think the house is nicer than it is. It's extremely old and everything is one press or one step away from breaking. Disposal was broken, fridge was in alarm all weekend long, dishwasher was nearly broken, there were small bugs all in the house that kept biting everyone. The bathrooms have nice tile so appear updated in photos but then toilets and sink operations are very old. The location was also shielded and makes you think you are staying in a nicer house and nicer neighborhood. Neighborhood gets better a few blocks down, but we had homeless people asking us for money when we walked out the door and the church next door is very active on the weekends and nights. The backyard area doesn't look as nice as the photos. It's all run down and not somewhere you will want to "hang out".

While this is an older Charleston property with historic character, every guest should still find it comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Charleston’s intense summer heat and humidity can cause a noticeable increase in outdoor insect activity throughout the city, and bugs can occasionally make their way inside despite routine preventative treatments. This is seasonal to the Lowcountry and not necessarily an indication of an issue within the home; however, we still take every report seriously and have asked our pest-control team to inspect the property. We are also addressing the appliance and maintenance concerns and reviewing the listing to ensure it accurately represents the home.

Good home for our group

Many bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for our group. Plus the walkable location close to King Street restaurants and shops was convenient.

Great stay close to lots

We enjoyed our stay in this house. Property manager was quick to answer our questions and very helpful. Convenient to walking to King St and other destinations. Beds were very comfortable.

Charleston stay

Nice mature unit, the family enjoyed their stay but a large dining/kitchen table would be nice. Construction going on outside and immediate surrounding location is nothing special.

Hosts were very communicative and property wa great. We slept 11 with no problem. Loved all of the attached bathrooms!

Mother’s Day weekend

We stayed here Mother’s Day weekend. 12 adults and we had plenty of space. The house is very clean and has nice bathroom and kitchen updates. Beds are comfortable! We had the misfortune of having storms all weekend but still really enjoyed our stay. Keep in mind the house is old so lots of interesting character. Communication with rental company was great!

I wish the kitchen had dish towels. It’s hard to make one towel work for 5 days. Also, the toaster was broken. You had to hold it down to toast. The ceiling fan in the bedroom on 2nd floor on the left didn’t work and several sinks were a bit clogged.

Our original plan was to stay at this property for our family vacation from August 3 through August 8. Unfortunately, due to a leakage issue at the rental, we were moved to another property off Phillips at the last minute. The replacement property was an eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom setup consisting of two units. While it provided plenty of space, it was not the ideal arrangement for our family. Given the short notice, however, we felt it was the best option available under the circumstances.The property management team was responsive throughout the process, was good about communicating with us. We also appreciated that the maintenance staff who came out to address the issues after our arrival were very friendly, professional, and willing to help. Several items needed attention when we checked in, including a door that was not closing or locking properly and an issue with the water pressure. The maintenance team responded and took care of the concerns, which was appreciated.That said, there were several aspects of the replacement property that made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. Before arriving, we were told that traffic noise would be low. Unfortunately, the property was backed up to a highway, and the traffic noise was noticeable. This was particularly disappointing because we had specifically been given the impression that noise would not be a significant concern.Another issue was the outdoor area. There was construction or work being done
