Great place and so close to the water and bay you get a nice breeze! The house was perfect for our family / friends group! Plenty of room and would recommend!

This property was a great find - not only was the description/pictures/etc. spot-on, but we did not find one instance where the booking was not up to our expectations. We found every room spotlessly clean, from living areas to bedrooms and bathrooms. All the rooms were spacious and provided much comfort and convenience for our extended family of 12. Honestly, we selected the property based on the description and the pictures on VRBO, but when we arrived, we found the entire place, inside and out, exactly as described and with no disappointments. Having the waterfront (canal) feature was an added plus and provided hours of entertainment and wonderment for the young children in our party as they were mesmerized examining the sea life.Added note: We also selected this property for the "pet friendly" feature and found it to be very accommodating for one's furry friends. We are so appreciative of owners like this who rent spacious, clean and pet friendly homes and we are glad we found and stayed at this property.VRBO's host kept us up-to-date on every step of the process and provided all the communication necessary to keep us informed, from arrival to departure. This completed the fully positive experience of this vacation rental process.

Great Stay

great place to stay I would suggest it to others and would come back again. great location spacious and very peaceful. my only suggestion is to have tgr cleaning crew to make sure all things are cleaned like dish washer n the firepit they some previous guest left item inside, out side of that great stay 4

The house was full of sand and the electric was out in both bathrooms. We could not blow dry our hair or shave. The landscaping was full of weeds 4'tall; very unappealing. I tried to contact the realtor but got no response.

Home not as advertised

House was advertised as “large and luxurious.” Spacious - yes; luxurious - no. We spent our first day cleaning! Black stains in kitchen sink, toothpaste on bathroom sink, hair in tub and fridge, floors dirty. Also, these items didn’t work: outlets in upstairs bathrooms, TV in main room, fan in sunroom, light over kitchen table, outer deck lights. Towel bar in upper hall bathroom was broken out of wall, two handles broken off of kitchen cabinets, sliding door lock was broken, and dishwasher completely yellowed inside. Worse, the dryer didn’t work! We informed the real estate agent. She scheduled the dryer to be fixed and she reimbursed us one night’s stay due to the cleaning; however, we were given the run-around on the other items and they were never fixed. She said she rented this house in the past and no one complained. That comment was off-putting because the fact that these items were inoperable is not a matter of customer perception; either they work or they don’t. Ultimately, we fixed the TV and the towel bar ourselves. Who wants to spend vacation time cleaning upon arrival and making repairs? On the upside, the property is on a quiet street, does have beautiful water views, and our son enjoyed fishing from the dock. Upon return home, a phone call was made to the owner of the real estate company. She listened graciously, expressed disappointment in the way the agent ignored our concerns, and said she would make sure this did not happen to any future renters.
